It is imperative to establish 1:50000 spatial database in order to meet the need of spatial base geography data in the government administration departments. The publish years of 1:50000 topographic map is more early comparing with the other topographic map series. While surveying and mapping 1:50000 topographic map needs more time using traditional surveying and mapping technology, and finishing the task needs more labour power, more material resources and more financial capacity. So surveying and mapping 1:50000 topographic map needs the fast producing method to assure data precision and data newly.With the rapid development of RS (Remote Sensing) Technology, RS has become an important means of spatial data acquisition, recognition and classification. While GIS (Geographic Information System) is the computer system applied in analysis, display and management of spatial data. There exist intimate relationship between RS and GIS. The distinguishing feature of RS rests with its capability of dynamic, multi-temporal spatial data collection. RS is an important means of establishment and update of spatial database. The satellite remote sensing image is also the main datum source of ground elements' rapid update. How to make high resolution satellite remote sensing orthophotoimage becomes the most pressing matter of the moment .This dissertation first selects satellite remote sensing image which can be used in the country 1:50000 DLG(Digital Line Graph) data producing.Radiometric correction and geometric correction must be made to reduce the deformations existed in satellite remote sensing image. This dissertation presents practicable technique route and producing flow under analyzing and studying the key technique of satellite remote sensing image correction.
