Duoyihe Scenic Spot, Nine-dragon Waterfall Group Scenic Spot and Zhuanchanghe River are 3 typical karst valleys in Luoping county, Yunnan province. They all locate on the crossing point of Yunnan, Guizhou and Guangxi Province; meanwhile, its location is in the transitional area between Yunnan-Guizhou Zone and Lingnan Zone. Karst physiognomy developed well, moreover, south subtropical climate and warm temperate climate coexist here. Additionally, there are warm and wet advantages in the valleys, so the bryophytes here grow well, and the bryoflora has particular characteristics.By collecting bryophytes in field and identifying in lab, we found that there were 281 taxa (including subspecies and varieties) in 110 genera, 45 families from 1060 specimens. Thereinto, there are 1 species of Anthocerotae in 1 genus of 1 family, 38 taxa of Hepaticae in 21 genera of 13 families, 242 taxa of Musci in 88 genera of 31 families. In these bryophytes, genus Plaubelia Bridel and species Plaubelia involuta (Magill) Zander are new to China, 2 genera and 20 species are new to Yunnan Province. In addition, Brachythecium homocladum C. Muell. is an endangered species. The phytogeographical elements of the bryophytes are dominated by Tropical elements (31.1%), and the less dominant elements are East Asia, Endemic to China and North Temperate elements; these 4 elements occupy 86.7% of total species. All of that indicate that the tropical and temperate elements coexist in Luoping. By the methods of Abundance Index, comparing dominant families and genera, Similarity Coefficient of Genus, Principal Components Analysis, the bryoflora is compared between 3 karst valleys as well as between Luoping and other 11 areas in China. The result are as follows: Firstly, between 3 karst valleys, for abundance index, the highest one is Zhuanchanghe River, then is Duoyihe Scenic Spot, and the lowest one is Nine-dragon Waterfall Group Scenic Spot; their dominant families have much similarities; for bryofloristic relationship, the proximate is between Nine-dragon Waterfall Group (for short) and Zhuanchanghe River, then is Duoyihe and Nine-dragon Waterfall Group, the last is Duoyihe and Zhuanchanghe River. Secondly, between Luoping and other 11 areas, the abundance index in Luoping being comparely high indicates that the natural conditions are superior...
