"Study on Urban Geo-environmental Database Establishment and Application" is based on the analysis of the actuality that a majority of urban geo-environment data still managed by paper and handcraft in our country. According to the research on establishing the urban geo-environmental attributive database and spatial database, a standard of data which suits the urban development is constituted, and a data model and data structure reflecting the urban major geo-environmental condition is developed. Urban geo-environmental attributive database and spatial database can be managed synthetically.The project of Urban Geo-environmental Database Establishment of YiWu City in ZheJiang Province supports the research of this paper and provides detailed datum and outlays for it. The main research works are as follows. The standard of YiWu's geo-environmental basic database is constituted by analyzing the standards of geo-environmental basic database establishment. The data model and data structure of establishing urban geo-environmental database is researched. The data model of urban geo-environmental vector data and raster data synthesis management is developed. Geo-environmental database of YiWu City in ZheJiang Province including essential geological, hydrogeological, engineering geological, disaster geological and environmental database is established. Geo-environmental basic database management system is developed. Urban geo-environmental spatial database management system covering YiWu city is developed on the basis of groundwater development evaluation, mine environment investigation datum, engineering geological investigation datum, solid rejectamenta investigation datum, geological disaster investigation datum and land use status investigation datum, hydrogeological bore data and groundwater dynamic observation data. Urban geological objects visualization and representative geological disaster, engineering geology, groundwater resource visualization management are researched using GIS technology and geo-environmental database.The paper is divided into seven chapters. Chapter 1 is an introduction simply describing the background of the research selection and the research meaning, the research purpose and content, the research status in and aboard, major problems existing and resolving methods and major pivotal technology of the research.
