A Review On Darwin's Ecology Thoughts

Charles Robert Darwin is not only an extremely important thinker in the history of evolution thoughts but also a famous urger before the ecology revolutionary. But in the traditional history of ecology which took Haeckel's thoughts as the center, Darwin and his thoughts about ecology have been neglected. Beginning with the reason about the question -whether Darwin's thoughts did effects to the development of ecology, this paper modified the traditional cognition about Darwin's thoughts, indicated that Darwin had analyzed detailedly the relationship between organism and environment before Haeckel. Furthermore, with the development of ecology and the several polarizations of study objects Darwin's thoughts became more fascinated. His thoughts about the species' gradual changes, natural selection and common ancestor not only discussed the relationship between organism and life-form but also expatiated on the general rules such as species and ecosystem. All these thoughts established well groundwork for the perfect and development of ecology.When discussing the main content of Darwin's ecology thoughts, this paper took two kinds of analytical ways which were theories studying and cases studying. Beginning with the theory of common ancestor, this paper discussed the natural net which was constructed by the cognation and inherited characteristic of common ancestor, then disclosed his main thoughts of ecosystem. When discussing the species ecology thoughts which enhanced the persuasions of the natural selection theory, this paper explored his cognition about the regulated law among the species. Besides, from the key taches during the biology evolution such as inheritance, aberrance, natural selection and adaptability, this paper discussed his thoughts about the mutual relationship between organism and environment and indicated that the unification between organism and environment causing the organic evolution was major ideas of his ecology thoughts.When discussing Darwin's abundant ecology thoughts, this paper especially emphasized his thoughts' adumbrative and edificatory effects to the entironment question which human facing today. From this way, this paper hoped the relationship between human and nature gradually stepped into the harmonious stage.
