This paper founds the deposit geology-geochemical exploration model by deeply studying ore-forming geological background, metallogenic geological condition and deposit characters of Xinkangmao, which was founded by the new technology of the geochemical exploration. And it systematically studies the next ore-seeking direction of the deposit and regional ore-seeking potential.The Xinkangmao gold deposit is in the northwest of Sichuan province, which is an important "micro-disseminated" gold deposit exproration prospective region. The deposit is in the southern margin of Aba missif of the Songpan geosyncline fold zone. The auriferous formations of the basis and the cover of sedimentary basin are well-developed. regional tectonics and magma activity are vivid. Which offer the good ore-forming geological background to the regional metallogeny. The circum mobile belts of the Aba missif controll the regional Au-deposit, deposits known distribute in the east and north of the missif, and the Xinkangmao deposit is in the south of Aba missif, which is next rxprolation prospective region .The Xinkangmao Au-deposit is controlled by formation and tectonic ,.ore-body is in the turbidity current sedimentary formation of Triassic, which is controlled by northwestern bedding ductile shear zone . The ore-body appears layered , similar layered and lentoid. Extension is steep dip wavelike. The No.1 and No.2 ore bodies found are larger , the length of No.1 is 6000m, the average thickness is 5.46m, the average grade is 5.02 × 10-6. The length of No.2 is 1000m, the average thickness is 4.12m, the average grade is 4.61 × 10-6. The resources amount , which both No.1 and No.2 are 333+334 level is 117t that reaches super-huge scale. The difference in elevation of ore-body of ground surface emergence is 735m. The ore within 200m exploration depth is basically oxidative ore, which are mainly ferritization, silicified cataclastic rock and mylonite.The technology and method of geochemiacal exploration has very important factor in exploration of the Xinkangmao deposit. Abnormality of the regional chemical exploration of 1:200000 distribute intensively , the total strike and formation strike are consistent, the scale of chief abnormal elements of Au, As, Sb are lager, distribution is fitting, the abnormality of associated elements Hg, W, Sn, Bi, Mo, Zn are well-developed. By sedimentary deposit of water system measurement of 1:50000, we find that the scale of Au, As, Sb abnormality are huge, which appear northwestern belted extension, the intensity of abnormality are larger than regional abnormality. Au abnormality of soil geochemical appraisal is striply distribution, As and Sb abnormality is a little horizontal zoning , the intensity of Au abnormality is orderly increasing.The main ore-body is unclosed in the research region, the ore-body paralleled with main body is not appraised, and the soil abnormality is not completely dissected.
