In this thesis, the author reviewed and summarized the senior's study of Oxytropis DC. in Inner Mongolia. And by means of classical classification, polynology and cladistics taxonomy, the author further deepened the classification system of Oxytropis DC.. We concluded that: (1) there are 5 subgenus in Oxytropis DC. in Inner Mongolia, they are Subgen. Tragacanthoxytropis Vass., Subgen. Physoxytropis Bunge, Subgen. Triticaria Vass., Subgen. Phacoxytropis Bunge, and Subgen. Euoxytropis (Boiss.) Bunge. (2) Subgen. Euoxytropis (Boiss.) Bunge is the right scientific name. (3) it is reasonable to separate 3 independent sectio, they are Sect. Arenicola C. W. Chang, Sect. Gobicola Bunge and Sect. Baicalia Stell. ex Bunge. (4) O. coerulea (Pall.) DC., O. subfalcata Hance and O. mandshurica Bunge are the same species, they should be merged. The scientific name is O.coerulea (Pall.) DC. (5) O. oxyphylla (Pall.) DC. and O.hailarensis Kitag. are the same species, they should be merged. The scientific name is O. oxyphylla (Pall.) DC. (6) O. monophylla Grub. and O. neimonggolica C. W. Chang et Y. Z. Zhao are the same species, the scientific name is O. monophylla Grub. (7) O. racemosa Turcz., O. gracilima Bunge and O. psammocharis Hance are the same species, the scientific name is O. racemosa Turcz.. (8) O. glabra (Lam.) DC. var. tenuis Palib. is unsuitable, O. glabra (Lam.) DC. var. tenuis (Palib.) J. N. Wang et Sh. Chen comb. nov. is right. (9) O.aciphylla Ledeb. var. utriculata H. C. Fu and O. aciphylla Ledeb. are the same species, they should be merged. (10) O. holanshanensis H. C. Fu should be O. holanschanica H. C. Fu et Cheng f.. (11) O. ochrantha Turcz. and O. ochrocephala Bunge belong to Subgen. Phacoxytropis Bunge. (12) O. sacciformis H. C. Fu belongs to Subgen. Physoxytropis Bunge. (13) O. grandiflora (Pall.) DC.and O. latibracteata Jurtz. Belong to Sect. Orobia Bunge. According to "Flora Intramongolica"(2ed. 3vol.), there are 27 species, 3 varietas and 4 forma in Oxytropis DC.. Through the author's research, Oxytropis DC. in Inner Mongolia have 30 species, 6 varietas and 4 forma. Among them author found 2 varietas nova: Oxytropis ochrantha Turcz. var. wulanchabensis J. N. Wang et Sh. Chen var. nov. and Oxytropis racemosa Turcz. var. brevirostrata J. N.Wang et Sh. Chen var. nov.. Combinatio nova have 1 species, 1 varietas and 1 forma, they are Oxytropis verticillaris (L.) J. N. Wang et Sh. Chen comb. nov., Oxytropis glabra (Lam.) DC. var. tenuis (Palib.) J. N. Wang et Sh. Chen comb. nov. and Oxytropis coerulea (Pall.) DC. f. albiflora (H.C.Fu) J. N.Wang et Sh. Chen comb. nov.. Studied documents we found 3 new distribution, they are Oxytropis salina Vass., Oxytropis lanuginosa Kom. and Oxytropis moellendorffii Bunge.
