The Effects Of Drought Disaster And Strategy Of Mitigation In China

The drought disasters has been very serious since the ancieant days in china. The complexity of climate, Special geography and territory conditions are the main reasons. With economy development and climate changing, the frequence of drought disasters raises continuously, the range affected by drought disasters keep enlarging especially in cities and to environment. Thus, and the loss increases year by year. Chinese people have accumulated abundant experiences in fighting against drought disaster. We have learned that we can't defeat drought disasters completely with limited by technology and economy. We should comply to natural rules, reinforce drought relief establishments, integrate measures of administration, law, technology, economy, etc, configure and use water resources reasonably, limit human activities,only in this way, we can decrease the affections caused by drought effectively.This paper analyzes the reasons of drought, evaluates the affections and loss caused by drought disasters to different business, social-economy, and entironment. Considering comprehensive, harmonious, sustainable development viewpoint and aiming at different districts and different fields, this paper propossed drought relief strategies and measures based on Chinese current situation and gave theoriotical support and practise suggestions on how to build the comprehensive system of drough relief management in china.
