Establishment The Geographic Information System Faced To The Cultural Relic

With the redevelopment of informationization in our country, it becomes very imperative to informationize in the field of cultural relic management.In order to raise efficiency of management and informationization of the cultural relic field we establish the geographic information system faced to the needs of cultural relic. It is the subject In this article that we popularize and take advantage of the geographic information system in the cultural relic field.In this article, the author analyzes both development tendency and application requirement of GIS in the cultural relic field at home and abroad.The contents are discussed and some suggestions are pointed out while our country carrying out GIS. Aimed at emphases of protecting the cultural relic the author research into the ksystem data class and data mining and database design and metadata and the safety of system.This article is based on the space resource data from the cultural relic protection information data and establishes the systematic framework combining GIS technology. At the same time, the article classifies the cultural relics protection information data according to the subject and forms the database with multi-information resourses structure based on the space resource data. It puts emphasis on all kinds of information resourses concerned with the system data structure in this article and concerend management models. Basing on this, the article also sets up the general structure of the system and chief function module. The system adopts SuperMap and SQL SERVER 2000 database, the GIS basic platform software, as system's development platform and VB6.0 as system's quadratic development language. The system primarily completed the development of the geographical information system aiming at cultural relic protection and realizes such functions as system security management, multi-information management, GIS special analysis and thematic map creation. Moreover, the system is practically applied in some institutions and solved the problems of its testing data and practical operation tests. It also provided the reason and demonstration for the follow-up study of the topic.
