With the enlarging scale of projects and the heightening altitude of engineering slopes, itattaches more importance to the stability analysis and control of high slope. At the meantime, it is animportant point to ensure engineering safety and building expenditure reduction. If we don't do wellwith high slope, it will potentially result in slope destabilization, and form landslide and collapse.Once this occurs, the consequence will be very severe. As it is the base of rock mass intensitystability and still mechanics standard that the traditional estimation and control design of falling andsliding geological disaster, there are some disadvantages: ①It is the base of soil mechanics limitbalance theory and considering simple destroy mode of uniformity medium. There is much differencebetween the case and that of most slopes being controlled by the structure of rock-soil mass. ② It isthe reciprocity between rock-soil mass deformation and timbering structure but not the traditionalassumed breakage face that comes into being rock-soil pressure as the base of design, then tocalculate stability coefficient by limit balance. For getting over these flaws, it is the in dire need ofstarve of resolving problem that we need to find the theory of geological disaster control engineeringbeing based of deformation theory. Based on this, the thesis studies the stability and control designsof Gapa landslide by using the study process of geological disaster course simulation and coursecontrolling. The thesis chooses the representative reservoir-bank of Yalongjiang river Jinping step onehydropower station engineering as mostly study base. The author selects "Stability Analysis andControl Designs on Gapa Landslide" as the master's degree thesis title under Mr. Chen direction andintegrating Resources Part commission item─ "Stability Study on High Steep Slope at Dam and atnear Dam Site in Yalongjiang River Jinping Step One Hydropower Station". The thesis makes use of the study process of geological disaster course simulation and coursecontrolling. Fist, rock mechanics environment conditions and engineering geology conditionsincluding rock character, geological structure, and groundwater which are located in study zone ofGapa landslide are analyzed according to related data which are achieved by practical research in thefield and consulting reference. At the same time, damage mechanism and conception model offormation mechanism of Gapa landslide are put forward. Geological disaster course simulation usessome theories and means to simulate geological course inside structure and the changing of boundarycondition and to recur the entire course of geology body evolvement on the basis of conceptionmodel. Accordingly it can validate the exactness and rationality, gain more in-depth understanding ofgeology body evolvement mechanism from theory, integer and inside action course and gain theevolvement current of geology body to win the aim of forecasting by lengthening in duration ofcalculating model. Then the stability and trend in development of Gapa landslide are evaluated andforecasted. For ensuring evaluation result accuracy, project research group evaluates stability of Gapalandslide not only by means of numerical simulation method, but also by means of limit equilibriumanalysis method. Based on above studies, the author chooses the control design, and carries throughprimary design according to still mechanics standard. And then, the best control design is chosen bycomparison using the technology of disaster control simulation. The control design selected is furtheroptimized by considering interaction between gliding mass and control engineering structure. In the course of studying, the thesis draws some conclusions: 114Abstract ⒈ The comprehensive study indicates that the Gapa landslide's development and formation arebased on bending-fracturing formation. In other words, Gapa lands...
