The methods of histology and Transmission electron microscopy(TEM) were used to study reproductive biology of Naptunea cumingi crosse. This research was hoped to enrich the content of the knowledge about reproductive biology of gastropoda ,and provide base data on gastropoda classification and cultivation of Naptunea cumingi crosse .The structure and function of the reproductive system of Naptunea cumingi crosse was describe, as well as the regularity in the development of sexgland. Not only the ultrastrcture of the oogenesis and spermatogenesis in Naptunea cumingi crosse.,but also the morphology ultrastructure and the types of the sperm were investigated. In this paper the paraspermatozoa ('atyppical' sperm) of Naptunea cumingi crosse was also introduced. Some projecting characteristics was researched:1 .The reproductive system were composed of a single gland, not branches. The wall of seminal vas was made up of glandulose cells ,so was thought of having the function as prostate.2.There were not advance Golgi complex and acrosomal vesicle, so it was infered that acrosomal complex was weak or degenerative.3.Between the ultrastructure of the sperm of Naptunea cumingi crosse and that of the species of gastropoda which had been reported in our country, there were some differences such as an elongate thread-shaped nucleus, spiraling mitochondria sheath and elongate glycogen piece.4.The characteristics of the sperm of Naptunea cumingi crosse , such as advanced penis, closed reproductive gland, degenerative acrosome, thread-shaped sperm, elongate mitochondria sheath, maybe were associated with the fact that Naptunea cumingi crosse fertilize internally.5. The ooplasm was largely devoid of organelles except for centralized mitochondrias, quantities of ribosomes.6.Througout oogenesis, follicle cells were closely associated with the developing oocytes. Follicle cell was very active. And contain lipids. The follicle cell played aimportant role in storage and oocyte nutrition.7.Both autosynthetic and heterosynthesis process occur in Naptunea cumingi crosse. Besides some section depressed and rised there were not microvilli on the oolemma. Maybe the nutrition was transfered in the form of molecules.
