Precision Agriculture(PA) is a very important direction for agricultural development in 21st century. The study and implement of Precision Agriculture have vital meaning to change extensive agriculture,promote skill level and sustainable agriculture of China.According to the condition of China, combine dryland Agriculture, The paper integrates GPS&GIS, use MapX4.5 ActiveX Control of Maplnfo Company's product inserting Visual Basic6.0 to develop, set up a real time monitoring system based on GPS and GIS, realize GPS&GIS integrated information manage system to apply to agriculture. We can see the real time position of field vehicles in the Electronic Map, can manage field vehicles database, shepherd the Agriculture planting and farming. The paper focuses on the following contents:1. The paper apply the mature ITS(Intelligent Transportation System) technology to Precision Agriculture, independent develop and realize a Geographic Information Manage System integrated Precision Agriculture and field real time monitor;2. Using Digitizer and correlative software, through high-precise GPS receiver measure the matching point, realize Electronic Map;3. Finish the common function design of the Electronic Map, include insert, dispose,save,output,print a Electronic Map; transfer database and create Theme Map; design of all kinds of GIS Tool; design of View etc;4. Use MapX4.5 ActiveX Control of Maplnfo Company's product inserting Visual Basic6.0 to develop, design communication interface programme, using Control to design communication of serial interface and network, finish the design of saving the transmission data;5. Realize real time display of field vehicles in the Electronic Map;Realize real time monitoring system of field vehicles based on GPS&GIS;6. Set up dryland Agriculture mechanical database and query system, Agriculture mechanical and dynamic vehicles information integrated, we can expediently query, add, delete, save the data in this module;7. Edit the Electronic Map integrated with real time monitoring, can specially analysis and manage one field, but trasfer to other field.Reach dynamic monitor and static anasys function.Through experimentation and PC-PC test, the system has stronger function and favorable extend capability, has higher practicability. Test result show this system runsteadily and reliably, realize real time monitor function including position display, information treatment, database manage and so on.
