With the aid of open country observance on-the-spot,normal regulation paraffin techniques,scanning electron microscopy(SEM), biostatistics etc., the biological characters,the living environment and distribution, the growth and development of flowers, megasporogenesis, microsporogenesis and development of gametophytes, pollination and fertilization,embryogeny and the propagating methods were studied .The main results in this report are as follows:1.Rosa persica is a unique plant belonging to Subgen Hulthemia.In China, it only distributes in Xinjiang with very strong ecosystem adaptability. Its flower is special in rose plants and is a good material for breeding rose in the future. 2.The buds start to differentiate on last ten days of the 3 month. It belongs to early flower type, having different length and speed of development of pistil and stamen .3.The development of the anther wall follows the basic type.Cytokinesis in the microspore mother cell is of the successive type.The arrangement of microspore in tetrad is tetrahedral.Mature pollen grain is of 2-celled type.The anther has 4 four rooms, accidentally seen six or seven rooms.4.The ovary is one - roomed,accidentally seen two-roomed. The mature ovules is anatropous, monotegmic.5. The fructified rate by self-pollination is 19.4%, and the rate by artificial pollination amounts to 67.2%. The best time of pollintion is 24 hours after blooming .6.The development of the female gametophyte follows the Polygonum type, ondifferent development stage ,there is the phenomenon of degeneration and sterile.7.The embryogeny is of the solanad type .The zygote gives rise to a liner 4-celled proembryo.Adventive polyembryony has been seen.The endosperm development corresponded to the nuclear type.8. Its breeding way has two type,namely the sex and the asexuality, under nature conditions, the latter is the main way to multiply. GA3 and BA can obviously increase the germination rate of its seeds,but the usage joined together has anti- effects. Reborn plants can be acquired by making use of the subterranean stems.The main influence factor is the media, and the hormone and its density show no prominent effects.In addition, Leading wild plants to grow is also a kind of viable methods to build mother garden...
