In east, south, west and north of Rosa xanthina shrub, we sampled, mensurated and analysed the fresh and dry biomass and their diameters of fruit. The ecological plasticity of fresh, dry biomass and their diameter on different orientation would be revealed. The dynamics of fresh, dry biomass and their diameter with growing season and growing rules of fruit biomass and diameter would be showed. The results indicated:In east, south, west and north of R. xanthina shrub, whether minimum or maximum of fresh fruit and their diameter, south was the highest, and east and west took second place, and north was the lowest. In south, the lowest fresh fruit and diameter were 0.61g and 9.58mm, and the highest were 1.67g and 12.88 mm. In east, the lowest fresh fruit and diameter were 0.52g and 9.05mm, and the highest were 1.28g and 12.77 mm. In west, the lowest fresh fruit and diameter were 0.37g and 8.23mm, and the highest were 0.88g and 10.38 mm. In north, the lowest fresh fruit and diameter were 0.28g and 5.28mm, and the highest were 0.69g and 10.12 mm. The coefficients of variation for fresh fruit biomass were higher than their diameters. In east, south, west and north of R. xanthina shrub, whether minimum or maximum of dry fruit and their diameter, south was the highest, and east and west took second place, and north was the lowest on the whole. In south, the lowest fresh fruit and diameter were 0.21g and 7.60mm, and the highest were 0.52g and 9.53 mm. In east, the lowest fresh fruit and diameter were0.21g and 7.41mm, and the highest were 0.47g and 9.20 mm. In west, the lowest fresh fruit and diameter were 0.21g and 7.0 mm, and the highest were 0.34g and 9.03 mm. In north, the lowest fresh fruit and diameter were 0.14g and 5.15mm, and the highest were 0.36g and 8.63 mm. The coefficients of variation for dry fruit biomass were higher than their diameters. The plasticity of fresh, dry fruit biomass and their diameter in different samples as follows: the fresh fruit biomass in four orientations were very significant on 7 June, 4 July and 7 July, and their diameters did on 7, 13, 27 June and 4, 7 July. The dry fruit biomass among four orientations were very significant on 27 June, and their diameters did on 7 June and 4 July. The fresh fruit biomass and diameter were completely corresponding: the pertinences of exponential function were very significant in east, north and west, and power function did in north. The dry fruit biomass and diameter were incompletely corresponding: the pertinences of exponential function were very significant to dry biomass in south, and power functions did in east, west and north, and power function did to dry fruit diameter in east and north. In nine observations and mensurations from 3 June to 7 July, the relationship of fresh, dry biomass and diameter of fruits took on some rules in east, south, west and north, namely, and power or exponential allometry, and linear isogony, which were significant and very significant.
