126 birds species was recorded in this paper. They belong to 74 genera,37 families, 16 orders. Of the 126 species, 72 species(57.1%) are aquatic birds. There are 110 species(87.3%) migrant bird which consists of 58 summer migrant and 52 passing bird species. Among 74 species breeding birds, 58 species (78.4%) are Palaearctic species,8 species(10.8%) Oriental species and 8 species(10.8%) cosmopolite species. There are 20Gategory I II Nationally Protected species. 19 species was newly recorded in wetland to the south of Daqingshan of Inner-mongolia.The peak of migration are from the middle of March to the end of April in the spring and from the middle of September to the end of October in the autumn.. The coming time of migrant birds is more concentrated in the spring than in the autumn and the first category to come in the spring and the last to leave in the autumn is Anatidae. The community of summer bird in Hasuhai is composed of Ardeidae,Anas and Fulica, compared with Daihai and Huangqihai in which the community is mainly made up of Charadriiformis and Tadorna. The number of different taxonomic unit (species, genus, family and order) Shannon-Wiener index (Hs=4.313) G-F index (DFG=0.422) and species evenness index (Es=0.697) are maximum in Hasuhai and minimum in Huangqihai (Hs=3.123, DFG=0.280 Es=0.512). The p diversity index between Hasuhai and Huangqihai bird community (βω=0.607) is the highest compared with the other combinations (βω=0.4, βω=0.370).The scientific Latin name and Chinese name of 17 folk Mongolian name and 62 folk Chinese name of local birds were checked and the characteristics of the traditional nomenclature and classification to the birds by the local people was studied.
