Megalobrama skolkovii Dybowsky is belonging to Cypriniformes, Cyprinidae, Culterinae,Megalobrama. It is one kind of fish, which is including in Chinese complex plain fishes system. Megalobrama skolkovii Dybowsky contains high fat in the body and is one kind of the famous fishes along Hei Long Jiang waters. It can live in low temperature and the growth rate keeps moderate comparing with other economy fish, the fish has potentiality in culture.The purpose of this subject deals with the biological characters of Megalobrama skolkovii Dybowsky according to the results of convey of nature resource in Heilongjiang waters, capture and transportation of brood fish, outer appearance, study of countable and measurable characters and all inner system, analysis of muscle composition, study of chromosome, and discuss the classification status, and also carried out the artificial fertilization.The study analyses results of former schoiars made, carried out convey along main patch and correlate lake; made experiments of catching and means, and captured from QinDeLi in middle river of HeiLongJiang to RaoHe of WuSuli river; made biological analysis of the captured fish; finished the artificial fertilization.The results of the experiment below: 1. The resources of Megalobrama skolkovii DybowskyNow, the fish lives in the part of Hei He to Xun Ke, Tong Jiang to Fu Yuan of Hei Long Jiang river, XiaoMuHe of WuSuLi river, DaXingKai lake. The fish had exterminated in Songhuajiang river, Nenjiang river and Jingbohu lake, where the fish had lived flourishly. The main causes of distributing situation, which might be partly because of the habit of this fish, are water pollution and overfishing.Megalobrama skolkovii Dybowsky may be divided into three groups: Heihe river group, Wusuli river group, Xingkaihu lake group.There might be many wintering habitats along Heilongjiang river for the fish, which can spends winter period in the part of river and lake comfortable for it, but different groups in the different wintering habitats have their migration routes and areas. The Wusuli river group has its stationery tour route, the spawning population wing up Heilongjiang river and swims into Wusuli river in early May when ice has melt, reproduces during mid June to July in middle part of Wusuli river. The larvae and parent fish swim into lake and open water of river for feeding, and come back to the holes in river during winter. The wintering area of spawning population in the middle of Wusuli river may be in the part from Tongjiang to QinDeLi;the wintering group in the part of Wusuli river Hulin county might be the premature group.The resource amount of Megalobrama skolkovii Dybowsky in Wusuli river is about 0.005%~0.01% of whole spawning amount in Heilongjiang. The reasons of small resource are1st, the fish eggs is lack of sticky and most spawning ground is not comfortable for spawning; 2nd, the fish matures about 5 years old and fecundity is in low level on absolute or relative eggs amount; 3rd, the shape is easier for catching with tall width and thin body. 2.The biological study of Megalobrama skolkovii DybowskyThe study on outer appearance has some differences with Nikerlski ( 1960), Wuxianwen ( 1964),Zhangjuemin( 1995), which is total length/total width, total length/head length, head length/mouth length. The scope of the ratio in total length/total width, total length/head length, head length / mouth length bigger than their results. The ratio of total length/tail length is the same as that Nikerlski (1960) and Wuxianwen (1964) , different with that Zhangjuemin (1995). Head length/eye length is as same as Nikerlcki, but it has difference with Zhangjuemin (1995) and Wuxianwen (1964). The ratio of tail length/tail width is the same as Nikerlcki and different with Wuxianwen (1964) and Zhangjuemin (1995).The fish captured in Wusuli river, but Nikerlcki's from Xingkai lake, and Wuxianwen's from Changjiang river.
