The three rivers' head source is the largest nature reserve in China, which has the highest concentrations of biodiversity at high altitudes. However, because of the influence of the increase of temperature and human disturbance and constriction of many factors, the ecological conditions situation is worsening in this area. To effectively improve the ecological environment in this region finally, the Chinese government department concerned and the Qinghai provincial government set about planning of the three rivers' head source artificial rainfall project. "The data processing and evaluation system of soil, water, grass and streamflow" (Abbreviation as "The effect evaluation system of artificial rainfall") is the software development and system integration of the three rivers' head source artificial rainfall project.The system evaluates the effectiveness of the artificial rainfall project in the aspects of water balance, vegetation variation, coastal variation, snowy and glacial variation and so on. According to the requirements of the system, this paper implements an integration solution for the effect evaluation system of artificial rainfall based on ArcEngine by using mixed-language programming technology, spatial database technology, attribute database technology, GIS technology and so on. On that basis, it develops and implements the integration of the system with ArcSDE technology, ArcEngine technology, ADO.NET technology, SQL Server2005 technology and C# language. The main contents and results of the study are depicted as follows:Firstly, it researches on the integration framework of the system. According to the requirements of GIS functions, multi-source data inventory and subsystems integration, the multi-tier structure integration framework of the system based on C/S model and the integration of attribute database and spatial database has been designed.Secondly, it not only researches on the key technologies of the system, including GIS technology, spatial database technology, mixed-language programming technology, spatial data processing technology, and so on, but also analyzes the application of the mixed-language programming technology, spatial data processing technology in this system.Thirdly, it implements the integration of general GIS display module and the results the other evacuation systems, by which the GIS display module can query and display attribute data and spatial data.
