Taxonomic Studies Of The Genera Tubaria And Galerina From China

The saprophytic, brown-spored agaricus Tubaria (W.G. Sm) Gillet and Galerina Earle from China were conducted the morphological taxonomy studied, detailedly described every specie and detected the amatoxins of a representative specie of Galerina.Through to the obserbations of 227 specimens deposited in the Chinese Academy of Science (HMAS), Herbarium of Cryptogams, Kunming Institute of Botany Academy of Science (HKAS), Mycological Herbarium of the Microbiology Institute of Guangdong (GDGM) and Mycological Herbarium of Jilin Agricultural University (HMJAU),22 species of Tubaria (W.G. Sm) Gillet and Galerina Earle were conducted the morphological descriptions, illustrations and line drawings, and the keys of species and sections. And the spores of all speices were studied with the Scanning-electron Microscope. Besides the amatoxins were detected from a representative specie of Galerina Earle.The paper reported 4 species of the genus Tubaria from China, including 2 records new to China. Tubaria confragosa (Fr.) Kuhner and Tubaria furfuracea (Pers.) Gillet were new to China. Moreover, described 18 species of the genus Galerina, including 8 records new to China. Such as Galerina filiformis A.H. Sm.& Singer, Galerina uncialis (Britzelm.) Kiihner, Galerina pistillicystis (G.F. Atk.) A.H. Sm.& Singer, Galerina stagnina (Fr.) Kuhner, Galerina fasciculata Hongo, Galerina oregonensis A.H. Sm., Galerina megalocystis A.H. Sm.& Singer and Galerina perplexa A.H. Sm.. Aslo Galerina autumnalis (Peck) A.H. Sm.& Singer and Galerina unicolor (Vahl) Singer were new to Inner Mongolia Province; Galerina heterocystis (G. F. Atk.) A.H. Sm.& R. Sin., Galerina helvoliceps (Berk.& M.A. Curtis) Singer and Galerina vittiformis (Fr.) Earle were new to Heilongjiang Province; Gheterocystis (G. F. Atk.) A.H. Sm.& R. Sin. and Galerina hypnorum (Schrank) Kuhner were new to Jilin Province; G. helvoliceps (Berk.& M.A. Curtis) Singer was new to Liaoning Province; G. vittiformis (Fr.) Earle was new to Zhejiang province; G. autumnalis (Peck) A.H. Sm.& Singer was new to Hunan Province; G. vittiformis (Fr.) Earle was new to Guangxi Province; G. hypnorum (Schrank) Kuhner, Galerina sulciceps (Berk.) Singer and G. vittiformis (Fr.) Earle were new to Sicuang Province; G. unicolor (Vahl) Singer, Galerina venenata A.H. Sm. and G. vittiformis (Fr.) Earle were new to Guizhou Province; G. unicolor (Vahl) Singer, G. helvoliceps (Berk.& M.A. Curtis) Singer and G. vittiformis (Fr.) Earle were new to Xizang Province; G. helvoliceps (Berk.& M.A. Curtis) Singer was new to Xinjiang Province. The author taked G. unicolor (Vahl) Singer, G. autumnalis (Peck) A.H. Sm.& Singer and Galerin marginata (Batsch) Kuhner as the individual species of Galerina.It was detected the amatoxins of Galerina, and the results showed that fruit bodies of Galerina helvoliceps (Berk.& M.A. Curtis) Singer contained a-amanitin andβ-amanitin.
