Study And Application Of Environmental Protection Information System In Ordos City Based On GIS

Using the environmental protection monitoring data of Ordos city as the foundation, the paper studies how to effectively building a practical environmental system to query and analyze based on 3D geographic information system.Compared to 2D,3D GIS provide the true feeling of geographical space to client on expressing objective world. The research area Ordos is rich of energy and mineral resources. The development of coal mining and industrial park is based on resources endowment and ecological environmental bearing capacity, so it is important to strengthen the supervision and regulation of pollution enterprise.This paper analyzed present situation of the environmental protection application of the 3D geographic information system at home and abroad,and systematically introduced the 3D GIS and basic knowledge of its secondary development, generally designed the information system of environmental protection of Ordos city,in addition,designed the system database and realized the system. The basic data of the environmental protection which is treated and analyzed is line monitoring data and video on-line monitoring data about sources of drinking water, soil, ecology, hydrogeology, and larger sources of pollution in Ordos city. Based on Microsoft SQL Server 2005, this paper access to database by using Arc SDE service engine and found a simple business model that combined with Sketch up and Arc GIS. Using Arc Engine component developed the environmental protection system under Visual Studio 2008 C #.Net programming environment.
