Evaluation is the effective means to promote students' development. Effective learning evaluation system that Established in immunology experimental course, can promote students to better grasp the immunological technology and be conducive to the cultivation of innovative talents. However, the research on learning evaluation of non-medical immunology experiment is less in studies of higher education evaluation. Therefore, we try to build a multiple learning evaluation system that can promote the students' development for immunology experimental course in East China Normal University, according to the higher education reform on the innovative talent training requirements and multiple learning evaluation theory.Through literature study, we cleared the demand of higher education reform and the mission of colleges and universities; described the development direction of East China Normal University; summarized the characteristics and development of biological experiments and immunology experiments; expounded the origin and development tendency of the learning evaluation; introduced the characteristic and theory basis of multiple learning evaluation. These theories laid the foundation and indicated the direction for this research.On the basis of theoretical analysis, we knew the college requirements of the teaching of immunology and the actualities of learning evaluation of immunology experiment, through the interviews with leadership who manage teaching service and immunology teachers in school of life science of East China Normal University. Immunology experimental teaching evaluation has some problems, such as evaluation body single, has only one goal, methods are simple and evaluation function only, and needs to be improved. We understand the students'demand of learning evaluation of immunology experiment, through the questionnaire survey of 2007 State Normal School Students at public expense in school of life science of East China Normal University. Students want to construct a multiple learning evaluation system of immunology experiment, which has multiple main body participation, involves many contents, through a variety of methods, pay attention to the whole process of learning.On the basis of theory research and survey, we created a series of evaluation scale combining the specific content of immunology experiment for student self-assessment. We construct a multiple learning evaluation system, which consists of students', partner'and teachers'participation, uses methods as self-rating, peer revision and teacher evaluation, involves knowledge and skills, process and methods, attitudes and values on content, adopts evaluation scale, reporting exchanges, and experiment report way. And this multiple learning evaluation system was practiced during February to July in 2010, took 5 months.The highlight of this research lies in:(1) A change in the evaluation. We consider that evaluation is not to grade the students, but to provide effective information for students to learn and for teachers to teach, enables students to develop and make teachers have a harvest during the process of evaluation. Therefore, the students' self-evaluation was analyzes emphatically. According it, we summarized experimental difficulties, then feedback to students of analytical result to help them review and consolidate knowledge; finished the suggestions that about students on experiment and evaluation, then feedback to teachers, to help them optimize the teaching. (2) This research created electronic self rating scale, with online survey tools, to achieve efficient statistical and process data, to reduce the burden on the evaluators of statistical data, to insure the results of statistical analysis can be feedback to students timely. This research realized evaluation of network preliminary, provided ideas and methods to make evaluation technique modernization and establish a perfect electronic evaluation system of experiment.Practice shows that the evaluation system constructed in this research reflects the characteristics of the multiple learning evaluation in the evaluation of content, evaluation of the main, evaluation methods, etc, achieved the communication effect of evaluation. Evaluation with the principle that service for teaching and learning melts in the teaching process, provides effective information timely for teachers'teaching and students'learning on the premise of not affecting the teaching, have strong feasibility and practicality. Will online questionnaire survey tools introduced evaluation system, this research pay attention to the combination of evaluation tools and network technology, have some creativity. But there are many issues that need further study, because of the limited time and energy, such as how to ensure the effective implementation of online evaluation, how to make the rating scale more concise and so on.
