The paper based on the relation of vegetation and environment, Wuyishan district in Fujian province is regarded as the research object, based on the GIS technique and vegetation quantity analysis methods, select different scale of grid cells, CCA on the logic matrix of vegetation and the area matrix of vegetation with the matrix of terrain and climate environmental factors respectively, research in the district of vegetation distribution and the relationship between environmental gradients, reveal the effects of terrain and climate environmental factors on the spatial distribution of vegetation structure and composition, to provide scientific basis for natural vegetation and biodiversity protection in Wuyishan district. The results show, the CCA ordination of 5kmx5km grid cell is better than 10km×10km grid cell. The CCA ordination of area matrix is better than logic matrix. In the CCA ordination of 5km×5km grid cell for the logic matrix of vegetation and the matrix environmental factors, the maximum impact factor is altitude, in the CCA ordination of 5kmx5km grid cell for the area matrix of vegetation and the matrix of environmental factors, the maximum impact factor is slop. Study on the correlation analysis of vegetation and environmental gradient indicated that altitude gradient is the dominant ecological gradients to determine the vegetation distribution, changes are taken placed with the increasing of altitude, the multiple gradient of water and heat are formed, corresponding types of vegetation transforms as well. Based on altitude and annual average temperature, slop gradient is the dominant ecological gradients to determine the vegetation area differentiation. Along the first axis of CCA ordination chart, all of the vegetation were divided to four taxas, revealing important environmental gradients and each one has its taxa-specific habitat characteristics.
