Calculus is a landmark in the history of mathematics. It has been found that the two countries of China and Britain in high school stages of the calculus is very different, this has aroused this research, trying to solve the problem as followes: What's the meaning of the calculus in the middle school ? What's the difference between the two countries in the content? What's the difference between the two countries in the calculus tests?The literature research, compare, interview, case analysis and other methods of have been used for the above issues. The conclusion is as follows: the status of high school calculus should be increased based on the existing appropriate; the breadth of calculus should be increased in teaching and examination, so that the students will have a good understanding of calculus in high school; the part of the application of calculus should be increased in the learning process, especially in combination with the practical application of Calculus, so that the students will feel that the Calculus has permeated every aspect of life.
