On The Transform Of Production Mode Of Scientific Knowledge And Its Meaning

Productive activity of scientific knowledge in contemporary society has changed and is still developing, which is generalized by many scholars in different fields. The studies on the systematization of the theory of scientific knowledge production mode have very important theoretical significance to the development of our national STS theories. Besides, these studies provide the philosophy of science and technology with a new dimension. This paper is intended to make philosophical analyses on the shift and significance of the scientific knowledge production mode.First, this paper presents the core of study in this paper and its significance, briefly presenting the related literature review of the domestic and international studies and laying out personal study viewpoint and method. Next, under the guidance of historical materialism and dialectical materialism, this paper analyzes and comments the six representative theories of scientific knowledge production mode. Next, this paper elaborates on the fact that the shift of the scientific knowledge production mode is influenced by three aspects which are respectively new tide of scientific and technological revolution, the rising of knowledge-based economy and the postmodernism. In this section, the paper stresses on the comparative analysis on context-dependence, transdisciplinary, and the diversity of subjectivity, organization heterogeneity and the social responsibility of the scientific knowledge production in the contemporary society. Next, this paper illustrates the profound influence of the shift of scientific knowledge production mode, which leads to the transformation of knowledge taking place in the nature and the functions of the technological innovation. As makes knowledge-driven productive force the primary productivity, thus stimulates the transformation of the mode of economic development. It also causes fundamental revolution in management paradigm---the appearance of the knowledge management. Besides, the scientific knowledge production mode demands to establish the knowledge-driven culture and the culture which is beneficial to the knowledge innovation. Last, in order to quicken the construction of innovation-oriented country in China, the scientific knowledge production mode puts forward four proposals:make clear the developing strategy for knowledge development, optimize knowledge production system, complete the mechanism of transformation of knowledge and cultivate the culture of the knowledge innovation.
