Research Into The Factors Affecting The Research Integrity Of Researchers In China And The Strategies Of Cultivation

Scientific research integrity is the soul of scientific research and a necessary condition for the development of science and technology in a country or region.The rapid development of scientific and technological innovation in Europe and the United States is largely due to the complete scientific integrity system.In the scientific and technological world,the cultivation of scientific research integrity is a global problem and has become a common goal of promoting the development of science and technology in all countries of the world.In the past ten years,the world has held five consecutive World Science Research Integrity Conferences,indicating that the impact of scientific research integrity on today’s technology,economic and social development is increasing.The level of scientific research integrity in China is not high.There are many scientific research misconducts in scientific and technological activities,which not only damages China’s academic reputation,but also wastes a lot of scientific and technological resources,and hinders the progress and development of China’s science and technology.At present,the issue of scientific research integrity in China has aroused the concern of the whole society,which has aroused the great attention of the Chinese government and caused management changes in the scientific and technological circles.If the scientific research integrity of Chinese researchers is still stagnant in the current state,it will hinder the improvement of China’s scientific research personnel’s independent innovation capability,hinder the promotion of China’s national science and technology innovation strategy,and hinder the sustainable development of China’s economy.Therefore,how to improve the scientific research integrity of Chinese researchers has become a major issue in China’s science and technology management strategy.In the current political,economic and cultural environment of our country,the cultivation of scientific research personnel’s scientific research integrity is a complex system involving many factors.The existing research has carried out a lot of discussion on the cultivation of scientific research integrity,which involves many aspects of scientific research integrity training,but these studies are scattered,and have not yet formed a complete method system,which lacks the motivation for the scientific research personnel to promote the scientific research integrity.This research uses the ideas and methods of grounded theory analysis to construct the basic research model of scientific research integrity training in China,including 7 main categories and 24 corresponding categories.On this basis,after a rigorous argumentation,a multi-regression analysis model of scientific research integrity training under the corresponding category,a scientific research integrity research model under the interactive effect of the commonality tragedy consciousness,and a scientific research integrity structural equation model under the main category were constructed.Then,based on the scientific research personnel of our country and based on the reliability test and validity test,the research model is tested separately,and the micro-mechanism of scientific research personnel’s scientific research credibility cultivation is analyzed,which discovers the problem and breakthrough direction of scientific research personnel’s scientific research credibility cultivation,and put forward the strategies and programs for scientific research personnel’s scientific research credibility cultivation in China,so as to provides a realistic theoretical reference for accelerating the cultivation of scientific research credibility in China.Based on the existing research,the innovations of this research include the following four aspects:Firstly,using the ideas and methods of grounded theory,through the initial coding,axis coding,and theoretical coding,the theoretical model of scientific research personnel’s scientific research integrity training is preliminarily constructed,including seven main categories,and that the cultivation of scientific research integrity should be derived from the value concept,research platforms,competition mechanisms,pressure mechanisms,public tragedy awareness,and scientific community.Secondly,from the perspective of scientific research integrity cultivation,the pressure mitigation mechanism of Chinese scientific research members is constructed,including life pressure,assessment pressure and job promotion pressure,thus reducing the obstacles for the integrity cultivation of scientific research personnel in China.Thirdly,this paper introduces some theories and ideas of institutional economics into the analytical framework of scientific research personnel’s scientific research integrity.It is found that the opportunistic behaviors such as rent-seeking,rent-creating and collusion in China’s scientific and technological activities not only directly damage the scientific research integrity,but also through the weakening of the value concept,research platform and competition mechanism indirectly damages the integrity of scientific research.At the same time,it also damages the scientific research integrity through the aggravation of the pressure mechanism.On this basis,this paper puts forward the path of the opportunistic behavior governance of Chinese researchers.Fourthly,this paper points out the urgency of the construction of China’s scientific community,and believes that the scientific associations at all levels in the current government context have failed to play the expected role of the scientific community.There is still a serious lack of function in the cultivation of scientific research integrity,so it is necessary to build independent,an autonomous,flexible,efficient,and truly scientific community.Finally this paper points out the direction of the construction of the scientific community.
