| Since the reform and opening up,China has followed comparative advantages and developed into a "manufacturing power",establishing its status as a "world’s factory" in the world.However,China’s participation in the global value chain has always been in the embarrassing situation of "low-end locking",and has not achieved higher international competitiveness in the global value chain.In the face of multiple shocks such as anti-globalization,geopolitical risks,and the COVID-19 epidemic,as well as changes in the characteristics of its own development stage,China has timely proposed a new dual-cycle development pattern to cope with the difficulties and challenges it faces in its mid-term and long-term development.The new pattern of domestic circulation is the main body,and international and domestic dual circulation promoting each other requires my country to participate in international trade with a more open attitude,and to continuously improve the level of foreign trade competitiveness.China’s economy has turned to high-quality development,continuously optimized its industrial structure,launched a series of strategies to convert old and new dynamic energy,and continuously released new dynamic energy efficiency.The institutional innovation achievements of the district are gathering positively,and the advantages of foreign trade dynamic energy conversion are prominent,providing solid internal conditions and external support for the development of foreign trade in my country.Therefore,it is of great theoretical significance and practical value to study how to influence the improvement of China’s foreign trade competitiveness through industrial upgrading and foreign trade dynamic energy conversion,thereby cultivating China’s new advantages in international competition and cooperation,and enhancing and leading the high-quality development of China’s foreign trade.This paper adopts literature analysis,theoretical analysis,fact analysis,indicator measurement analysis and empirical analysis.At the same time,it further deepens the understanding of the mutual dynamic effect.This paper,by reviewing and summarizing the existing relevant literature research,focuses on the impact of industrial upgrading and foreign trade dynamic energy conversion on the improvement of foreign trade competitiveness.First,it explains and defines the conceptual connotation of industrial upgrading,foreign trade dynamic energy conversion and foreign trade competitiveness improvement,and focuses on the impact mechanism of industrial upgrading and foreign trade dynamic energy conversion on foreign trade competitiveness improvement;industrial upgrading induces foreign trade dynamic energy conversion and then The impact mechanism on the improvement of foreign trade competitiveness;the impact mechanism of the transformation of foreign trade dynamic energy driving industrial upgrading and thus on the improvement of foreign trade competitiveness,correspondingly put forward research hypotheses H1~H4.Secondly,it further characterizes industrial upgrading by technological choice and the transformation of foreign trade dynamic energy by means of trade mode transformation.By constructing a theoretical model framework,it describes the mathematical relationship between industrial upgrading,foreign trade dynamic energy conversion and the improvement of foreign trade competitiveness.Finally,based on China’s manufacturing industry and regional levels,comprehensively analyze the time series change characteristics and spatial evolution regularity of industrial upgrading,foreign trade dynamic energy conversion and foreign trade competitiveness improvement;by constructing an econometric model and combining static panel estimation,system GMM,mediation effect And the threshold effect test explores the direct,indirect and nonlinear influence laws and characteristics of industrial upgrading and foreign trade dynamic energy conversion on the improvement of foreign trade competitiveness;In addition,the PVAR model is further used to explore the dynamic relationship between short-term fluctuations and long-term equilibrium between industrial upgrading,foreign trade dynamic energy conversion and foreign trade competitiveness improvement,and obtain research conclusions,and put forward policy suggestions accordingly.The research conclusions mainly include: First,there are obvious fluctuations in the time series characteristics of industrial upgrading,foreign trade dynamic energy conversion and foreign trade competitiveness,and this time series characteristics have significant industry heterogeneity and regional differentiation;Second,industrial upgrading and foreign trade dynamic energy conversion do help to improve the level of foreign trade competitiveness.At the same time,this promotion effect has obvious characteristics of industry heterogeneity,regional heterogeneity and time period heterogeneity;Third,industrial upgrading not only directly affects the improvement of foreign trade competitiveness,but also promotes the improvement of foreign trade competitiveness through the driving effect of the conversion of foreign trade dynamic energy.The conversion of foreign trade dynamic energy through the inducing effect of industrial upgrading also contributes to the improvement of foreign trade competitiveness;Fourth,there is a long-term positive co-integration relationship between industrial upgrading,foreign trade dynamic energy conversion and foreign trade competitiveness enhancement;Industrial upgrading and foreign trade dynamic energy conversion are granger reasons for foreign trade competitiveness.At the same time,it is granger’s reason for each other,and there is a benign positive feedback mechanism between the industrial upgrading and foreign trade dynamic energy conversion.The main innovations are as follows: First is to expand the research horizon.Breaking through the logical perspective of simply studying the relationship between industrial upgrading and foreign trade competitiveness,foreign trade dynamic energy conversion and foreign trade competitiveness improvement,the industrial upgrading,foreign trade dynamic energy conversion and foreign trade competitiveness improvement are confined to a unified research framework,and the impact mechanism of industrial upgrading and foreign trade dynamic energy conversion affecting the improvement of foreign trade competitiveness is explained in detail using systematic thinking framework.Second is to extend the research content.At present,the existing research on the conversion of dynamic energy of China’s foreign trade mostly stays in qualitative research,and only introduces the connotation and path of the conversion of dynamic energy of foreign trade.There are few measurement problems involving the conversion of dynamic energy of foreign trade.Based on the theory of dynamic energy growth,this paper constructs a theoretical framework of dynamic energy conversion of foreign trade,measures the dynamic energy conversion index of foreign trade,and measures the degree of conversion of new and old dynamic energy of foreign trade in China’s manufacturing and regional levels.The third is to enrich the empirical content.It explores the impact of industrial upgrading and foreign trade dynamic energy conversion on the improvement of foreign trade competitiveness,relying on real data combined with mediation effect method,threshold effect test and panel VAR model to verify the impact of industrial upgrading and foreign trade dynamic energy conversion on the improvement of foreign trade competitiveness and its dynamic
