Rural revitalization is a major task to achieve the great rejuvenation of China. The development of rural tourism and land transfer are very important and necessary research topics in the research of rural revitalization.Rural tourism and land transfer are two roads to achieve rural revitalization, and they complement each other.Land transfer is an important step in the development of rural tourism, and rural tourism is an important direction of land transfer.Comprehensive research on the two is the common demand of practice and theoretical research.Rural tourism has positive impact on farmers, but also has negative impact on farmers. As one of the important stakeholders of rural development, farmers have the right to contract and use rural land. The development of rural tourism requires the transfer of agricultural land from farmers, and the risks and benefits coexist in the land transfer. The development of rural tourism requires the transfer of agricultural land from farmers, and the risks and benefits coexist in farmers’ land transfer.According to the social transaction theory, only when farmers perceive that the transfer of land resources to develop tourism can obtain higher benefits, they will be willing to transfer excavated land.Based on the "perception-attitude-behavior model" from Abler,it is predicted that rural tourism oriented farmers’ perception of land transfer benefits may affect farmers’ willingness of land transfer, farmers’ attitude towards rural tourism development and farmers’ participation behavior rural tourism, and farmers’ willingness of land transfer.Furthermore, farmers’ attitude towards and participation behavior in rural tourism are very important to the development of rural tourism.Through using t-test and one-way ANOVA produce, this thesis analyzes the differences of farmers’ characteristics in farmers’ perception and impact of land transfer benefits.Based on the above analysis, this thesis will study farmers’ benefit perception and its impact of rural tourism oriented land transfer. However,in the existing research, the research scales and measurement on farmers’ benefits perception of land transfer and their participation behaviors in rural tourism are inconsistent.Furthermore, there is a lack of comprehensive research on farmers’ perception of land transfer benefits, farmers’ willingness of land transfer, farmers’ support for rural tourism development and farmers’ participation behavior in rural tourism. To fill up this research gap, firstly,a questionnaire is formed by literature review, farmers interviews, expert consultation and pre-investigation;secondly,the data is collected through the questionnaire from farmers who live near the rural tourism destination in Wuhan;thirdly, this study uses mathematical statistical methods such as reliability test, validity test, corrected item-total correlation and exploratory factor analysis to analyze the collected data, and establishes a comprehensive assessment scale of farmers’ land transfer benefit perception-willingnes-attitude-participation behavior, and then uses the comprehensive assessment scale to evaluate farmers’ perception of land transfer benefi-willingness-attitude-participation behavior;finally, this thesis, through correlation analysis, regression analysis and structural equation model, constructs a model of the relationship between farmers’ perception of land transfer benefits, farmers’ willingness of land transfer, farmers’ attitude towards rural tourism development and farmers’ participation behaviors of rural tourism development.Through the above analysis,4 main results of this study are drawn:(1)The evaluation system of rural tourism oriented farmers’ perception of land transfer benefit and its impact includes farmers’ perception of land transfer benefit, farmers’ willingness of land transfer, farmers’ attitude towards rural tourism development and farmers’ participation behavior of rural tourism.Farmers’ perception of land transfer benefit includes three dimensions: industrial economic benefit perception, social life benefit perception and ecological benefit perception.Farmers’ participation behavior of rural tourism includes three dimensions: cognitive behavior, promotion behavior and regulatory behavior.(2)The level of farmers’ land transfer benefits perception is not high, especially the level of their perception of industrial economic benefits and ecological benefits is low.Farmers’ willingness to transfer land is not high, and a large number of people are not willing to transfer land to develop rural tourism.Farmers in Wuhan highly support the development of rural tourism. They are desirous of improving their quality of life by developing rural tourism.Farmers rarely participate in the development of rural touris. The level of farmers’ rural tourism cognitive behavior, farmers’ rural tourism promotion behavior and farmers’ rural tourism supervision behavior are very low.Farmers in Wuhan do not deeply participate in rural tourism development and decision-making.(3)Farmers’ perception of land transfer benefits has a significant positive impact on farmers’ willingness of land transfer, farmers’ attitude towards rural tourism development and farmers’ participation behavior in rural tourism. The better the farmers perceive the benefits of land transfer, the more willing they are to transfer land, support the development of rural tourism and participate in tourism development.Farmers’ willingness to land transfer plays an intermediary role in farmers’ perception of land transfer benefits and farmers’ attitude towards rural tourism development.Farmers’ attitude towards rural tourism plays an intermediary role in farmers’ perception of land transfer benefits and farmers’ participation behavior in rural tourism.(4)There are significant individual differences in farmers’ perception of land transfer benefits and farmers’ participation behavior in rural tourism.Farmers’ willingness of land transfer and farmers’ attitude towards rural tourism are less affected by farmers’ characteristics.Farmers’ perception of land transfer benefits, farmers’ willingness to land transfer, farmers’ attitude towards rural tourism and farmers’ participation behavior in rural tourism may be different due to their age, education level, social relations, tourism relevance, their awareness of land transfer policies and their distance from rural tourism destinations. Finally, combined with the research conclusions, this study puts forward research suggestions, research deficiencies and future prospects. |
