| The pharmaceutical industry is affected by factors such as increased market competition,resource scarcity and changes in medical concepts.Industrial innovation is shifting from the industrial era to the era of knowledge economy.Pharmaceutical companies are required to extended viewing angle and focus on the entire industry’s innovation ecosystem.Innovation ecosystem is to examine the innovation system by the concept of ecology,which is the outcome as the innovation developing.In recent years,"innovation ecosystem" gets tons of attention in both the academic and practical area,however,for certain specific parts of the pharmaceutical industry,ecological perspective is still an academic field that needs to be developed.Therefore,this paper attempts to analyze the constituent elements,structure and characteristics of the pharmaceutical industry innovation ecosystem from an ecological perspective and it studies the construction and mechanism of the pharmaceutical industry innovation ecosystem.Countermeasures for promoting the efficient operation of the innovation ecosystem in China pharmaceutical industry are recommend in this study,which is based on the summary of the development and problems of the pharmaceutical industry innovation ecosystem in China.Firstly,it analyzes the connotation and characteristics of the innovation ecosystem.On the foundation of the analysis between innovation ecosystem of the pharmaceutical industry and the natural ecosystem,the components of the pharmaceutical industry innovation ecosystem are proposed into two elements:biological component and non-biological component.The biological component includes the original innovation subject,the technological innovation subject,and the innovation decomposition subject;non-biological component refers to the environment faced by the innovation subject in conducting drug research and development activities.This study summarizes the three functions of optimizing the allocation of innovative resources,enhancing the level of synergy and improving the innovation ability of pharmaceutical industry.Secondly,following the research idea of "innovation subject-nutrition chain—innovative ecological network—innovation ecosystem",this paper analyses the interaction relationship of innovation elements in the pharmaceutical industry innovation ecosystem,and discusses the government-led model,the core enterprise-led model,the pharmaceutical industry cooperation innovation model and the colleague-research institutions model.In the process of gathering the innovation subjects,"nutrition chain" is formed to support the whole innovation subjects.This study discussed the "nutrition chains”in vertical and horizontal vision are formed around the pharmaceutical industry,the innovative ecological network is established in the process of interweaving among the "nutrition chains".In the meanwhile,the dynamic cycle of talent flow,capital flow and information flow in the innovation ecosystem is deeply studied,and an open pharmaceutical industry innovation ecosystem is constructed.Thirdly,combining with the formation of the innovation ecosystem in the pharmaceutical industry,the operating mechanism of the system is expounded from three aspects:innovation motivation mechanism,cooperation mechanism and guarantee and coordination mechanism.The innovation motivation mechanism is an important driving force for the formation and operation of the system.The cooperation mechanism runs through the entire cycle of new drug research and development activities.Through the regulatory role of market mechanisms,it guides the circulation of resources in the innovation ecosystem and realizes the value.The guarantee mechanism provides personnel,capital,knowledge and technical resources for systematic development.The coordination mechanism can stimulate the cycle of innovation activities.The coupling of the three mechanisms promotes the efficient operation of the innovation ecosystem in the pharmaceutical industry.Finally,it summarizes the two stages of the formation of China pharmaceutical industry.The achievements of China’s pharmaceutical industry innovation ecosystem are summarized from the aspects of pharmaceutical industry competitiveness,innovation ecological environment and collaborative innovation among innovation subjects.Based on the expert’s interviews and questionnaire surveys,the main problems in the development of China pharmaceutical industry innovation ecosystem are raised by Factor Analysis.Service innovation level,interaction and communication,auxiliary innovation ability,return,original innovation ability,and technological innovation,capacity and supply of higher talents are discussed,which provides a realistic basis for the subsequent countermeasure research on the efficient operation of China pharmaceutical industry innovation ecosystem.Based on the analysis of the problems existing in the pharmaceutical industry innovation ecosystem,this paper brings out three countermeasures from optimizing the ecological environment of the pharmaceutical industry,cultivating the innovation subjects and promoting their collaborative innovation,which promote the efficient operation of the innovation ecosystem of China pharmaceutical industry:. |
