A new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation is gaining momentum.Innovation strategies are playing a more prominent role in the competition for overall national strength.Innovative strategic competition plays a more prominent role in the overall national strength competition and innovative talents is in a key position in the competition of comprehensive national strength.Therefore,it is very important to cultivate creative top-notch personnel,which is closely related to great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.College students in the new era are not only the new generation and the modern people with spiritual wealth,but also the main force in the construction of innovative power.It is of theoretical significance and practical value to study the cultivation of innovative spirit of college students in the new era.What kind of innovative spirit of college students do we need to cultivate in the new era?Whether the college students in the new era have innovative spirit or not? modernization of “spiritual wealth” and innovative spirit is an important symbol of “spiritual wealth” of modern people and an important dimension of“spiritual wealth” of college students.The new era is the era of building an innovative power,and the spirit of innovation has become an important spiritual force of the innovative power,and college students with innovative spirit are the new force of the innovative power.There is scientific theory logic in the cultivation of innovative spirit of college student.The innovative spirit what we cultivate is unique.It is an innovative spirit which regards Marxism as a guiding ideology with Chinese characteristics.And it is an innovative spirit of Chinese Communists and Chinese people in the new era.The important view about innovative spirit from Marx and Engels includes the theory of human characteristic,the theory of human nature,the theory of human’s free and comprehensive development,and the theory of dialectics of nature.The era explanation about innovative spirit of Chinese Communists includes innovative spirits which are practical and realistic,liberating,updated,pragmatic,conventional and innovative.The innovative thinking in Chinese excellent traditional culture contains the thought that all things last forever,the thought that constant striving becomes stronger,the thought that steers a middle course and the thought that destroy the old and establish the new.All of these are theoretical foundation and ideological resources in the cultivation of innovative spirit of college student in the new era.The innovative spirit of college students in the new era is endowed with the new connotation by times.It is one of the characteristics of the study to discuss the innovative spirit in the new era.We believe that the innovative spirit is a historical concept that has been continuously enriched and developed with the change of times.What we need to cultivate in the new era is an innovative spirit which regards investigation and research.Through investigation and research,we find that the main problems in cultivating the innovative spirit of college students in the new era include: some college students are not strong main spirit,free spirit,truth seeking spirit,critical spirit and reform spirit.From the perspective of cultivation,we find that the main reasons for the existence of these problems are the deviation of college students’ value orientation;the incomplete innovation of traditional education concepts;the formation of innovative education collaborative education ecology;the lagging construction of university innovation culture and so on.The cultivation of innovative spirit of college students in the new era is a systematic project.In order to cultivate the innovative spirit of college students effectively,we need to take the following actions.Firstly,we must strengthen the value guidance of the cultivation of innovative spirit of college students with the value guidance of meeting people’s needs for a better life,the value guidance of realizing Chinese-style modernization and the value guidance of building a community of human destiny.Secondly,we need to promote the integration of“Three Innovation”of the cultivation of college student’s innovative spirit,which refers to the deep integration between ideological and political education and innovative education,the deep integration between professional education and innovative education,and the deep integration between labor education and innovative education.Thirdly,we need to build a “Three Complete Education” ecosphere in the cultivation of innovative spirit of college student.To be specific,we need to build a Full Staff Education community,form the All-round Education synergy and link the Whole Process Education in the cultivation of innovative spirit of college students.Fourthly,we have to realize the systematic reshaping of the cultivation of innovative spirit of college student.We must remould educational innovation system,reform teaching innovation system and strengthen the evaluating innovation systems for cultivating innovative spirit of college student.Finally,we have to create nurturing campus culture atmosphere for cultivation of innovative spirit of college students,which includes the construction of campus material culture that support cultivation of innovative spirit,formation of the institutional culture that safeguard cultivation of innovative spirit and establishment of spiritual culture that lead cultivation of innovative spirit.
