The socialist ideology guided by Marxism is the banner and soul of our party and nation.As an important institution for spreading ideals,beliefs,values,and moral concepts,colleges and universities are the frontiers of the party’s ideological construction.With the maturity and popularization of We-Media technology and various We-Media applications,We-Media had exerted a profound impact on the contents,channels,environment,and teaching staffs of ideological construction in China’s colleges and universities,that not only provided a new platform,a new carrier and a new method for college and university’s ideological construction,but also inevitably brought a series of impacts and challenges.Under this circumstance,how to give full play to the advantages of We-Media,make We-Media help with the construction of college and university ideology,and effectively meet the risks and challenges brought by We-Media at the same time,had became important tasks for college and university’s ideological construction.We-Media is an imported concept,and its connotation and extension are defined differently from various perspectives.Itrefers to a new form of media that freely established,independently published and self-managed by netizens under the premise of the development of digital technology,network technology,mobile communication technology and satellite technology,which advocates freedom,independence and the spirit of innovation.Ideology is a composite concept,in which Marxism as the guiding ideology is the core of the mainstream ideology of our country.The strategic goal of ideological construction in China’s colleges and universities is to maintain the safety of college and university’s ideology,enhance the discourse power of mainstream ideology,and strengthen the party’s leadership in ideology.As a new medium of ideological dissemination,We-Media had deeply integrated with the study and life of contemporary college and university students.How to strengthen the ideological construction of China’s colleges and universities under the environment of We-Media is a new topic we are facing.It is necessary for us to start with the construction content,construction channels,construction environment and teachers team construction of China’s colleges and universities based on the new laws and characteristics of ideological communication under the environment of We-Media,analyze the positiveness and negativeness of We-Media to the construction of college and university ideology,strive to explore methods of strengthening the ideological construction of colleges and universities under the environment of We-Media,ensure the safety of national ideology,cultivate and practice socialist core values,resist wrong social thoughts,create a clean and upright campus cultural environment,and train talents for socialist construction with Chinese characteristics etc,in order to fulfill the fundamental task of establishing morality and fostering talents in colleges and universities more effectively.Results of the questionnaire survey and Interview showed that the content of ideological construction in China’s colleges and universities under the environment of We-Media had been continuously enriched,but still in a backward position when comparing with the iterative update speed of technical means.We-Media had broadened the channels of ideological construction in colleges and universities and provided new approaches and methods,but its utilization rate still fell short of the expected effect.The environment of the ideological construction was becoming more and more complicated,while the status of talents and teams could not meet the needs.The main reasons for these problems were,the rapid transformation of society had impacted the dominant position of the mainstream ideology of socialist;globalization had exacerbated the complexity of the ideological construction environment in China’s colleges and universities;the lag in the construction of staff teams had given a space to non-mainstream ideologies;and the incomplete infrastructure under the environment of We-Media had affected the ideological construction in China’s colleges and universities.Under the environment of We-Media,the ideological construction of colleges and universities highlights six point of “Goal-Principle-Content-Channel-Environment-Team”: First,set clear work goals,firmly master the leadership,management rights of the party on college and university ideology construction and the right
