Study On The Cultivation Of College Students’ Consciousness Of Voluntary Service

Since the beginning of the 21st century,the value and function of China’s voluntary service activities in the modern sense have been increasingly manifested and developed vigorously under the leadership of the Communist Party of China.Based on this,the Chinese government has successively issued a number of regulations and policies on voluntary services,so as to encourage and support the development of voluntary services from multiple perspectives.Meanwhile,after the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC),the voluntary services have been formally incorporated into the overall situation of comprehensively deepening reform and become one of the important contents of carrying forward and implementing the socialist core values.With relatively high moral quality,service passion as well as participation willingness,college students have become a new force to drive the development of voluntary services.At present,the academic circle mainly encourages college students to participate in voluntary service activities in the forms of carrying forward volunteerism,such as value guidance and model demonstration.Compared with the educational methods carried forward by volunteerism,based on the research perspective of ideological and political education and taking the cultivation of voluntary service consciousness as the research perspective,this paper pays attention to analyzing the development level of college students’ consciousness of voluntary service in the practice of ideological and political education.According to different development situation,the periodical cultivating content and ways are set,so as to strengthen college students’ cognition of voluntary service,motivate them to participate in,encourage them to positively,actively and voluntarily take part in voluntary service activities of serving others and contributing to the society,so that the unification of the individual value and social value can be realized.On the basis of sorting out,referring to and summarizing relevant researches,this paper puts forward the research topic of cultivating college students’ consciousness of voluntary service,and carries out a comprehensive theoretical and empirical research on it.In this paper,on the basis of fully absorbing and drawing lessons from the relevant researches on voluntary services in the academia,and taking Marxism humanity theory,theoretical resources of collectivism and higher education theory as the theoretical support of the research,the thought original cultivation of voluntary service consciousness is comprehensively summarized.Then,based on the development status of voluntary service in China and comparing it with volunteer spirit,it can be concluded that voluntary service consciousness is the consciousness of a certain period,and it can continuously improve and develop towards the volunteerism that is the highest value idea through the guidance and cultivation of ideological and political education.Seeing from this perspective,volunteerism can be regarded as the ultimate goal for the development of voluntary service consciousness,which includes the whole process from the cultivation of the cognition,psychology,attitude and participation consciousness of volunteerism to its spiritual level.The excellent tradition and development course of China’s voluntary service are sorted out,the representative cases are selected,and the related contents of college students’ consciousness of voluntary service are summarized.Then,taking the differences in distinguishing the development stage of western and Chinese voluntary service and cultural foundations,as well as the relationship between the ideological and political education and civic education as the reference principle,the experience and enlightenment of cultivating the college students’ consciousness of voluntary service are summarized.The historical background of voluntary service consciousness cultivation is analyzed,and combined with the specific situation of China’s social development,the development stage of voluntary service consciousness cultivation whose main content is charity psychology,service consciousness,participation consciousness as well as volunteerism is analyzed.Then the voluntary service consciousness training content system which takes Chinese excellent traditional culture,the Party’s policies and guidelines as well as the theoretical system of voluntary service as the core is constructed,the basic characteristics of voluntary service consciousness cultivation under the background of globalization and information era are analyzed,and the value function of college students’ consciousness of voluntary service cultivation is made clear.Based on the content obtained from theoretical review,literature analysis and theoretical summary,the questionnaire of college students ’ consciousness of voluntary service is designed,in order to judge the development status of current college students’ consciousness of voluntary service and master the condition and effect of college students’ consciousness of voluntary service cultivation.With the data processing methods such as difference analysis and correlation analysis,the problems and possible causes for the college students ’consciousness of voluntary service cultivation are analyzed from the perspective of individual characteristic factors,school environment factors,family environmental factors,social environmental factors,intrinsic motivation factors and so on.Later,the methods that can improve the effect of college students’ consciousness of voluntary service cultivation are obtained through hypothesis verification.Based on theoretical research and empirical research and according to the content obtained from the analysis of influencing factors,the specific paths of college students’ consciousness of voluntary service cultivation are explored from the perspective of following scientific concepts,improving subject ability,enriching cultivation methods,optimizing cultivation environment and expanding cultivation channels.In general,college students’ consciousness of voluntary service cultivation can more effectively integrate with the ideological and political education in colleges and universities,realize the unification of social and human development,combine theoretical education with practical education,and synchronize the participation in voluntary service practice with the practice of socialist core values.Therefore,the practice mode of college students ’consciousness of voluntary service cultivation not only provides new ideas for the transformation of ideological and political education in colleges and universities but also becomes an important part of practicing socialist core values.
