Research On The Construction Of Discourse Power Of Socialist Core Values In Cyberspace

The number of netizens has exceeded 1 billion and cyberspace has become an important field for people’s social interaction since China was officially connected to the Internet,The form of social communication in cyberspace is mainly expressed as interactive discourse transmission that is not limited by time and space,and the power of the discourse of netizens has achieved unprecedented development.Due to different positions,the discourse confrontation between diverse and heterogeneous values in cyberspace is becoming increasingly fierce,and profoundly affects the discourse dominance of core socialist values in cyberspace.Starting from the view of historical materialism,this thesis carries out an in-depth analysis of the internal mechanism of dissemination of core socialist values in cyberspace,and builds a new visual platform for consolidating and developing the discourse dominance of core socialist values in cyberspace and even in real space.This study follows the basic idea of "what--why--how to do",and discusses in turn the theoretical basis,basic explanation,basic strategy,opportunities and challenges,consolidation and enhancement.The theoretical basis of the study of the discourse power of core socialist values in cyberspace can be divided into five dimensions: the first is to sort out the basic position,essential connotation,existence basis,and construction method of the classic Marxist writers on the ideological discourse power;The second is to sort out the ideas of the Communist Party of China on proletarian ideological leadership,the Party’s leadership of the ideological front,the leadership of press and public opinion and the dominance of public opinion in cyberspace before the 18 th National Congress;The third is to summarize the crucial remarks of General Secretary Xi Jinping on the construction of discourse in cyberspace from the perspectives of basic concepts,construction orientation and working methods;The fourth is to excavate the ideological underpinnings of Chinese excellent traditional culture on the subject of discourse,discourse content and discourse transmission;The Fifth is to explore the theoretical resources of discourse power construction in western society from the perspectives of philosophy,politics,sociology and communication science.Starting from defining the concepts of cyber discourse and cyber discourse power,this thesis analyzes the essential connotation of the discourse power of core socialist values in cyberspace,and argues that the discourse power of core socialist values in cyberspace is essentially an organic combination of cyber social power derived from perceptual needs,political rights based on rational self-consciousness and cyberspace governance capacity in view of ideological security.On this basis,it further summarizes the basic characteristics of the discourse power of core socialist values in cyberspace: the unity of openness and dominance,the unity of virtuality and reality.Based on Lasswell’s 5W communication model,this thesis analyzes the elements of the discourse power of core socialist values in cyberspace,including discourse subject,discourse content,discourse object,discourse carrier,and discourse environment.All the elements combine and interact with each other to constitute the internal structure of the discourse power of core socialist values in cyberspace.The spillover effects of building core socialist values discourse in cyberspace are obvious,and should be given strategic consideration in terms of significance,goals,and principles.Based on the position of overall national security and overall interests,this thesis answers the strategic significance of building the discourse power of core socialist values in cyberspace,argues that it is vital in safeguarding national cyber sovereignty,consolidating ideological security,and promoting the construction of a robust cyber nation.From the domestic and international perspectives,this thesis answers the appropriate pattern of constructing the discourse power of core socialist values in cyberspace: to consolidate the discourse dominance of core socialist values in cyberspace is the construction goal internally,and to enhance the discourse understanding and consensus is the goal externally.From the three dimensions of construction objective,strategy,and methodology,this thesis answers the basic principles of constructing the discourse power of core socialist values in cyberspace which are the unity of party and people,the unity of mainstream guidance and pluralistic coexistence,and the unity of discourse democracy and opinion centralization.The construction of the discourse power of core socialist values in cyberspace can be realized from three major opportunities: the fundamental opportunity comes from the superiority of the socialist system,which ensures the right direction of the construction of core socialist values in cyberspace;The realistic opportunity comes from the outstanding achievements of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era,including the significant increase in overall national power,the substantial improvement of people’s livelihood,the effective governance of cyberspace,and the rapid development of network technology,and these achievements have laid a solid foundation for building core socialist values in cyberspace;The potential opportunity comes from the consciousness and comprehensive support of the netizens,which provides sufficient vitality for constructing the discourse power of core socialist values in cyberspace.At the same time,problems can be found in various elements to varying degrees.Thereby,the discourse power of core socialist values in cyberspace has to face severe challenges,such as the lack of influence of the discourse subject,the lack of attractiveness of discourse content,the lack of cohesion of the discourse object,the weak dissemination power of the discourse carrier,and the insufficient appeal of the discourse environment.How to effectively enhance the influence of core socialist values in cyberspace is the main theme of the research on the construction of the discourse power of core socialist values in cyberspace.Based on the analysis of the problems of each constituent element,this thesis proposes corresponding countermeasures: to enhance the power of discourse subject by cultivating self-consciousness and building a collaborative construction pattern of multiple subjects;to enhance the attractiveness of the discourse content by means of implementing structural reforms on the supply side of information production and focusing on the overall presentation and innovative expression of the discourse content;to strengthen the basis and guarantee of discourse object identification by means of improving people’s livelihood,grasping the demand of discourse and improving ideological quality;to improve the dissemination power of discourse carrier by enhancing the exploitation and utilization of discourse platform,promoting media integration and linkage,and focusing on the evaluation and feedback of communication effect;to optimize the physical and non-physical environment of discourse transmission in cyberspace by improving Internet speed,developing security software,perfecting legislation and regulations.
