The new era,a critical period of China’s great national rejuvenation,competing with the existence and game of “two systems”and “two ideologies”,has witnessed a major change of the world in a century.Capitalist ideology and socialist ideology are still in a state of mutual exchange,integration and confrontation.We have entered a new stage of development,where the “two overall concerns” are intertwined,and the “two centenary” historic converge.The missions in Chinese ideological field are more formidable.As a outpost of ideological struggle,universities are the key field to train newcomers to take on the task of national rejuvenation.In recent years,the west has intensified the use of political sensitive events,religious events and special historical points to infiltrate the ideology in universities,which has brought serious impact on the ideological security of universities.It is urgent to strengthen the ideological education universities.Therefore,it is of great theoretical significance and practical value to strengthen the research of ideological safety education in colleges and universities in the new era.By means of the theoretical research of education of ideological safety in universities,the effectiveness and accuracy of ideological education can be enhanced.Eventually,teachers and students in colleges and universities will form a high degree of trust in the Communist Party of China,a firm belief in socialism with Chinese characteristics,strong conviction in the achievement of the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,and a lofty belief in the inevitable arrival of the communist society.On the basis of related research status at home and abroad,the paper,following theoretical analysis,history investigation era.By systematically examining the realistic situation of the ideological safety education in the new era,it has a objective analysis for the new opportunities and new challenges faced by the education in three aspects,respectively the external conditions,internal environment and the university itself.It also summarizes five plights and problems in the education,that the ideological the new era,the effective measures should be put forward for the dilemma of the education,the technical support of education should be strengthened,the function of the education should be constantly expanded,the education method should be innovated,the education position should be consolidated,the system of education system should be perfected in order to enhance the teachers’ and students’ cognition of the education.The university ideological safety education should be combined with the advantages made by the development of our country in the new era,in line with the overall national
