Grassroots governance is an important part of the national governance system,and the grassroots government is one of the important subjects to promote innovation in grassroots governance.The innovation of grassroots government governance not only helps to modernize the national governance system and governance capacity,but also helps to meet the needs of the grassroots people,maintain social stability,improve the grassroots government’s own governance capacity,and ultimately lead to good governance.At present,many practical examples of governance innovation have emerged at the grassroots level in my country,but they are faced with the bottleneck of sustainable development,and are faced with difficulties such as "short-lived","island effect" and "fragmented innovation".In order to effectively solve the above dilemma,this paper constructs a grassroots government governance innovation mechanism from a systematic and holistic perspective,studies the internal operation mechanism of the grassroots government governance innovation mechanism,and tries to answer why grassroots governments carry out governance innovation?How does grassroots government generate governance innovation?Why and how do grassroots government governance innovations spread?What is the sustainability performance of grassroots government governance innovation projects?And how to promote the sustainable development of grassroots government governance innovation?In order to answer the above questions,this paper systematically analyzes the internal elements and relationships of the grassroots government governance innovation mechanism,and puts forward the operation difficulties and sustainable development ideas faced by the grassroots government governance innovation mechanism,which has important theoretical and practical significance for promoting the sustainable development of grassroots government governance innovation.This paper is based on the logical idea of
