This thesis analyzes the Tang Dynasty cursive script from the perspective of phenomena to spiritual development.Starting from the origin and development of the Jin Tang calligraphy style,it examines the source and development path of cursive script.By sorting out the development status of cursive script in the Tang Dynasty,it discovers the particularity of the Tang Dynasty cursive script phenomenon and the achievements it has made,and explores the generation of the "crazy spirit" of Tang Dynasty cursive script.The first chapter first reviews the academic background of cursive script,tracing back to the origin of the Jin and Tang calligraphy styles,from the emergence of writing to calligraphy.Then,it summarizes the evolution of the calligraphy style from seal script to clerical script to regular script to cursive script.Chapter 2 discusses the origin of cursive script and its development in the Tang Dynasty.Firstly,the divergent views on the origin of cursive script were analyzed and a conclusion was formed.Correspondingly,the development and changes of cursive script were discussed.Then,the development of cursive script in the Tang Dynasty was discussed,laying the foundation for discovering the particularity of the phenomenon of cursive script in the Tang Dynasty and the spirit of cursive script in the future,forming a research logic and sequence of cursive script from concrete to abstract,that is,metaphysical.The third chapter begins to specifically discuss the particularity of Tang Dynasty cursive script,including the multidimensional identity of cursive calligraphers and the particularity of cursive script cultural phenomena.The multi-dimensional nature of cursive script writers is mainly carried out from top to bottom,namely the order of emperors,literati,cursive script monks,and folk cursive script writers.Among them,there are also outstanding figures such as Tang Taizong,Zhang Xu,Huai Su,Sun Guoting,He Zhizhang,Yan Zhenqing,and ordinary people(cursive script monks),and then a series of cursive script writers to reproduce the external appearance of the prosperity of cursive script at that time.Then,it can be inferred that the cursive script activities or phenomena from people to them-namely cursive script communication,cursive script poetry,and wall inscribed cursive script-have their own unique characteristics.This is a very special aspect of the cursive script phenomenon in the Tang Dynasty,which further forms a reflection of the Tang Dynasty’s cursive script phenomenon.A new understanding and recognition of the phenomenon of cultural.Chapter Four begins to further study the spirit of cursive script in the Tang Dynasty,with the most creative being the "crazy spirit" of cursive script.From the development of academic thought history to the emergence of cursive script,and then to the logical sequence of "crazy spirit",it explores the formation and development changes of the"crazy spirit" of cursive script.It is believed that the "crazy spirit" of cursive script in the Tang Dynasty is not only one of the characteristics of cursive script,but also the most important achievement of cursive script.In the pioneering sorting of the spirit of cursive script,it is pointed out that it has evolved from the "spirit of neutrality" to the "spirit of freedom",and finally to the "spirit of madness".
