Research On Industrial Theme Art During The Seventeen-Year Period(1949-1966)

Industrial theme art during the Seventeen-Year period refers to the art creation depicting the industrial construction of New China from 1949 to 1966.It is also an important material for us to understand the art history of the early stage of New China.The relevant research carried out by the academic circles is relatively late in time,has few achievements,and mostly focuses on the social dimension or the artistic dimension,which is easy to cause bias in views and positions,and has not fully seen the profound historical role and academic value of industrial theme art during the Seventeen-Year period.In this regard,based on the previous work,through the overall vision of modernization and specific methods such as sociology,linguistics,iconology and formal analysis,this paper deeply investigates the generation process and visual pattern of industrial theme art during the Seventeen-Year period,analyzes the vanguard and diversification of its visual representation,and then discusses the Enlightenment of this analysis to the current research on the modernity of art in New China.The conclusion points out that industrial theme art during the Seventeen-Year period is internalized in the modern transformation of New Chinese art,and it is also an important visual presentation of the modernity of New Chinese art,infiltrating the intertextual evolution logic of social dimension and artistic dimension;It has the characteristics of the times of popularization,scientization,revolution and nationalization;It also shows a specific and subtle look of modernity in the aspects of historical tracing,discourse generation,visual construction and cultural representation,which can expand the speaking category of art modernity in New China and help to realize the effective sinking of the current macro theoretical discussion.
