| Pipa is one of the most representative national musical instruments in China.It carries a long history,contains profound traditional cultural heritage,and embodies rich humanistic spirit.From ancient times to modern times,the art of pipa has been passed down from generation to generation,and its blood has been continuously extended and strengthened.The inheritance and development of pipa art in the 21st century has a long way to go.Talent cultivation is the first priority,which ultimately depends on pipa teaching.As a cradle for cultivating talents in the art of pipa,music universities shoulder the historical responsibility of revitalizing and promoting the art of pipa.We should devote ourselves to learning the successful teaching methods and concepts of our predecessors,draw nourishment from their wisdom,and improve our teaching and research abilities.Mr.Liu Dehai is a famous pipa performer,composer,and music educator in China.Instructing Liu Yi,he explored the path of pipa education and teaching,innovated teaching methods,innovated educational concepts,led discipline construction,and led teaching research,greatly promoting the inheritance and development of pipa art,making outstanding contributions to China’s ethnic education.This article systematically combs and studies the ideas and methods of Liu Dehai’s pipa teaching,exploring the philosophical thinking,scientific methods,and practical approaches in Liu’s pipa teaching,with a view to bringing beneficial enlightenment to today’s pipa teaching.This article is divided into the following three chapters:The first chapter is "The Philosophical Thoughts and Core Concepts of Liu Dehai’s Pipa Teaching",which first sorts out Mr.Liu Dehai’s teaching process and teaching contributions;Secondly,it discusses the three important ideas and concepts of Liu Dehai’s pipa,namely,"neutralization","emotional noumenon",and "golden triangle",and explores their specific manifestations in Liu’s teaching.The second chapter is "Chapter 2:Liu Dehai’s Pipa Teaching Methods".Firstly,from the perspectives of instrument attributes and technical language characteristics of the Pipa,Mr.Liu’s personalized interpretation of the Pipa instrument is discussed;Secondly,it expounds the technical system of Liu’s teaching and the methods and essentials of technical training;This article discusses again the method of music secondary creation in Liu’s teaching,and finally discusses the teaching philosophy and methods of Liu’s Pipa ensemble class.The third chapter is "Liu Dehai’s Concept of Teacher",which first discusses how Mr.Liu views the relationship between teachers and students;Secondly,it discusses the use of Liu’s classroom language,and finally discusses the transformation of teacher identity.In the conclusion of this article,based on the discussion of the above three parts,the author believes that Mr.Liu Dehai has shown a firm image of a national music educator in his teaching career,and is a model for setting himself up and teaching with morality.Mr.Liu Dehai’s teaching ideas,concepts,and methods mainly display the following characteristics:first,he advocates the penetration of musical emotion in the classroom,attaches importance to the value of "emotion",and secondly focuses on the inheritance of the humanistic spirit of traditional and folk music;In technology teaching,emphasis should be placed on systematicness,scientificity,and standardization;In talent cultivation,it advocates stimulating students’ individual subjectivity and paying attention to the cultivation of students’ personality;The teaching process emphasizes people-oriented,with the fundamental goal of cultivating"inheritors" of comprehensive development.The author believes that Liu Dehai’s pipa teaching has a strong artistic,philosophical,and humanistic nature,triggering our thinking about the future cultivation goals of pipa talents.This study adopts comprehensive methods such as literature research,comparative research,and experience summary to conduct research on text materials,collate and study Mr.Liu’s classroom recordings,interview recordings,and other audio-visual materials,and explore Liu Dehai’s philosophical ideas,advanced concepts,and specific practical methods in pipa teaching.This study aims to improve the theoretical research on Liu Dehai’s pipa teaching,with a view to playing a positive role in the inheritance and development of pipa art. |
