influences that are formed by their interaction.By collecting, sorting and visiting a large number of relevant documents, cultural relics and folk oral historical materials, this project comprehensively utilizes multidisciplinary research methods and theories to systematically comb and study the belief in the gods of salt and drama activities, industry practitioners and drama activities, salt industry and the presentation of drama literature, industry culture geography and drama art, industry centers and the dissemination and change of local dramas. The first chapter mainly analyzes the spiritual dramatic activities, belief in personality god of salt and its combined dependence with dramas, and belief in comprehensive god of salt and its accumulation and transformation with dramatic activities. On the basis of this, the paper discusses the interweaving and interaction between the living customs and drama in the salt district, and the commercial customs and drama activities in the salt trade. In the relationship between the god of salt and the god of drama, the compound and superposition of these two gods appeared in the collision, and there was also a tendency that they crossed but not blended. The second chapter mainly analyzes the characteristics of salt industry and the main groups performing drama activities.Based on the rich and complex occupational groups in the salt industry, the drama activities of salt officials have the characteristics of composing music for their own entertainment, keeping a theatre troupe, composing and singing for making friends and travelling, singing on important occasions and revising drama scripts by order of the emperor.Their behaviors developed the tradition of the family drama to the peak, led the drama events of scholars and merchants, and promoted the dramatic life habits of the common people. The drama activities of salt merchants were expressed in aspects such as investing and supporting drama activities, building gardens to perform drama, gathering the scholars at home, engraving and printing the scripts and involving the younger generations in drama activities.Their activities,on the one hand, promoted the change of the concept of drama in“Competitions Between Hua and Ya” during the Ming and Qing dynasties. On the other hand, their activities also had the negative influence caused by excessive extravagance. The drama activities of salt workers were mainly artistic expressions from the hardships in work and the contradictions between officials and peopleand merchants and people. The special harvest sacrifice songs in northern Tibet carried the construction of people’s spiritual world after the harvest in the salt industry. In terms of drama venues, the self-entertainment of the salt merchants’ hall drama, the industrial discipline of the salt industry association’s guildhall drama, and the fawning earnestness of the salt industry’s commercial worship all determined the differences of the drama.Influenced by commercial customs and production changes, repertory performance also had certain characteristics. The fourth chapter mainly analyzes the influence of different behavior
