Research On The Contemporary "Northwest Women Writers Group

In the contemporary literature,the Northwest female writers observe and write in multiple edges,especially the Northwest minority women writers whom are in the multiple edge position of gender,"western" ethnic,frontier and others.Therefore,researchers have paid less attention to it.Until the 21st century,the "Northwest Women Writers Group" gradually became an important part of "Western Literature" and"Female Literature".At present,it is difficult to say that "Northwest Women Writers Group" have formed a mature literary group.This is a group of female writers with potential and initial scale,they have formed some common literary characteristics under the comprehensive influence of various factors such as region,ethnic group,culture and religion.This paper make a comprehensive study of "Northwest Women Writers Group".To explore their distinct style,which is not only different from Northwest male writers,but also different from women writers in other regions.First of all,the author makes a comprehensive discussion on the "Northwest Women Writers Group" of development course,the narrative theme and unique style of the novel.Secondly,make a case study of representative female writers in different stages,different regions and different ethnic groups.They are He Shuyu and Li Tianfang,who made outstanding achievements in the 1980s,Ye Guangqin and Mei Zhuo,who attracted attention from the 1990s to the turn of the century,and Zhou Xuanpu and Ma Jinlian,who are gradually known after the 21st century.Among them,Ye Guangqin is Manchu female writers,Mei Zhuo is Tibetan female writers and Ma Jinlian is Hui female writers,the novel has certain representativeness in the Northwest minority woman writer.He shuyu,Li tianfang and Zhou xuanpu were women writers of the han ethnic group in different periods,and their different experiences and identities-revolutionaries,intellectuals and Lowclass woman,and their different literary road in the Northwest women writers has representative significance.The novels of these six female writers have distinct personal styles,which are highly recognizable among the female writers in the northwest and even among the whole "Western" writers.In a certain sense,they represent the highest achievement of contemporary Northwest women writers’ novels.In terms of the narrative themes of their novels,He Shuyu who is from Revolution to Literature and Li Tianfang who grew up in the 1950s and 1960s,mainly wrote about "human" under the enlightenment discourse of the"new period",and reflecting on the shackles of history and reality on the mind of "human".Although the Manchu woman writer Ye Guangqin and the Tibetan woman writer Mei Zhuo were born in different ages and had different experiences,But in the 1990s,they turned to their own cultures and family histories makes a reflection on the ethnic culture in the "Cultural Root Searching".Most of the novels written by Zhou Xuanpu,who was born in the 1970s,and Ma Jinlian,who was born in the 1980s,writing about the underclass(including the countryside)and women in a modern context and makes an independent thought to "Modernity".Finally,try to make summary on the position,value,significance and limitation of "Northwest Women Writers Group" in the history of contemporary literature(including the history of female literature).This paper tries to make an overall study of the Northwest women writers in the"Western Literature" and Chinese female literary tradition.On the basis of filling the gap in the study of Northwest women writers,from the gender perspective to examine a series of questions of ethnic group,tradition,region,women and "Modernity",etc.Under the dual cover of "Western Literature" study and Chinese female literature study,discover its own unique meaning of "Northwest Women Writers Group" outside of both ideologies.In terms of literary meaning,it is not only a kind of enrichment to the study of "Western Literature",but also a kind of expansion to the study of Chinese female literature.In terms of cultural meaning,through the study of the novels of "Northwest Women Writers Group",provides a marginal perspective to examine the problem of frontier cultural integration,ethnic integration and "Modernity",etc,and put forward some new understanding on these issues.
