Objective:This project takes the generalized prescriptions from the existing famous prescriptions of the Song Dynasty as the research object, summarizes and studies the academic ideas of famous doctors,in order to understand the academic characteristics of Song Dynasty doctors and their contributions to the development of traditional Chinese medicine, and provide ideas for modern clinical diagnosis and treatment of related diseases. At the same time, collect and organize information on the prescriptions of famous Song Dynasty scholars, screen for high-frequency and efficient prescriptions, study the formulation ideas and compatibility characteristics of famous Song Dynasty prescriptions, sort out the evolution and modern clinical applications of later generations,in order to promote the development and utilization of classic Song Dynasty prescriptions. Methods:This project is based on traditional Chinese medicine literature research methods such as bibliography and typology, while comprehensively utilizing research methods such as bibliometrics and statistics.Firstly,a thorough screening of private prescription materials from the Song Dynasty was conducted, followed by the determination of inclusion and exclusion criteria.A systematic study was conducted on the medical practitioners and prescription works included in the research scope, exploring their academic ideas, clinical experience, and prescription characteristics.Secondly, based on the "Catalogue of Ancient Classic Famous Prescriptions"(first and second batches)and other materials, collect and organize the famous prescriptions of Song Dynasty masters, and after screening, their representative prescriptions will be included in this study.Ancient literature search, using databases such as the Chinese Medical Code, the Sea of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the National Medical Code Collection, and traditional Chinese medicine think tanks as platforms, with "prescription name" as the main keyword for retrieval, supplemented by relevant synonym searches for prescriptions;Modern literature is based on searching relevant literature from the China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)database, sorting out the evolution and clinical application patterns of representative formulas from ancient to modern times. Finally,we will explore and summarize the academic contributions of the group of medical practitioners in the Song Dynasty and their insights into modern clinical diagnosis and treatment. Results:Part 1:(1)Sorting out the relevant concepts of prescription books, narrow definition prescription books refer to works specifically containing prescriptions; The generalized prescription book is actually a comprehensive medical book.(2)There are currently about 37 types of private Fangshu in the Song Dynasty, most of which are narrow Fangshu. The Song Dynasty famous prescriptions(generalized prescriptions)included in this study include:"Su Shen Liang Fang","Shi Zai Zhi Fang","Quan Sheng Zhi Mi Fang","Pu Ji Ben Shi Fang","Ji Feng Pu Ji Fang","San Yin Ji Yi Bing Zheng Fang Lun","Ji Sheng Fang","Ji Sheng Xu Fang",and "Lei Bian Zhu Shi Ji Yan Yi Fang".Part 2:Systematically organize and study the academic ideas, clinical experience, and medicinal characteristics contained in the nine prescriptions.Among them,(1)Su Shi and Shen Kuo’s "Su Shen Liang Fang" extensively discussed the compatibility of monarchs and officials, the identification and application of herbal medicine, methods of health preservation, and the treatment of diseases;(2)Shi Kanzhi’s "Shi Zai Zhi Fang" has made many achievements in pulse theory, the Five Elements and Six Qi,and the differentiation of organs and syndromes. In clinical diagnosis and treatment, emphasis is placed on phlegm and saliva causing diseases, spleen and kidney, preservation of authenticity and elimination of pathogenic factors, and effective use of wind medicine;(3)Wang Zizhi’s "Quansheng Zhi Mi Fang" emphasizes pulse therapy, syndrome differentiation and doubt analysis, emphasizes the pathogenic view of internal and external pathogenic factors, and emphasizes the regulation of qi mechanism.Treatment mainly starts from the five internal organs, attaches importance to the transmission and transformation laws of the five internal organs, and is skilled in using methods such as moxibustion;(4)Xu Shuwei’s "Pu Ji Ben Shi Fang" attaches great importance to typhoid fever, believing that "deficiency and excess in the exterior and interior" is the outline for treating typhoid fever, and flexibly applies various formulas of Zhongjing. In the differentiation and treatment of miscellaneous diseases,Xu emphasizes the spleen and kidney, emphasizes the elimination of evil first, and emphasizes precision in medication;(5)Zhang Ruizhi’s "Ji Feng Pu Ji Fang" emphasizes dialectical diagnosis, and puts forward the viewpoint of liver and kidney qi deficiency in the treatment of diarrhea. It emphasizes adapting to human and environmental conditions, and emphasizes emotional and emotional illness. The treatment of typhoid fever emphasizes the preservation of truth and peace. In the differentiation and treatment of deficiency and fatigue,it proposes the theory of nourishing the five organs and nourishing qi and blood;(6)Chen Wuxuan’s "Three Causes and One Disease Syndrome Formula Theory" constructed the basic framework of the "Three Causes Theory" in traditional Chinese medicine etiology, which has played a significant role in the differentiation of deficiency, excess, cold and heat in the organs, classification and prevention of diseases, differential diagnosis, differentiation and treatment of the six meridians, emotional and pathogenic factors, and the five movements and six qi;(7)Yan Yonghe’s "Ji Sheng Fang" and"Ji Sheng Xu Fang" emphasize the logic and completeness of "treatment based on pulse causes",attach importance to the etiology and pathogenesis of diseases, and emphasize the spleen and kidney in clinical practice. They propose the viewpoint that "tonifying the spleen is better than tonifying the kidney".In the differentiation and treatment of phlegm and yin,Yan points out that "promoting qi is the first priority, followed by differentiation and guidance";(8)Zhu Zuozhi’s "Lei Bian Zhu Shi Ji Yan Yi Fang" discusses the treatment of stroke, attaches great importance to dispelling wind, harmonizing qi,and regulating blood, and is cautious in using cold and cool medicines. When treating sweat syndrome,Zhu Zuozhi attaches great importance to harmonizing the yin and yang, nourishing qi and strengthening the exterior.Zhu follows the principle of "tonifying the kidney is better than tonifying the spleen",attaches great importance to harmonizing the qi and nourishing the blood, and treats deficiency and damage. He is skilled in using blood and flesh to nourish the kidney and essence.Part Three:For the Song Dynasty private famous prescriptions that contain unique academic ideas of medical practitioners, there are many records and medical case evidence in ancient times, and there are many clinical and experimental reports in modern literature, after screening, they were included in this study. They include:Danggui Yinzi("Yan Shi Ji Sheng Fang"),Dao Tan Tang("Chuan Xin Zhi Fang"),Bu Huan Jin San("Yi Jian Fang"),Jia Wei Shen Qi Wan("Yan Shi Ji Sheng Fang"),Huan Shaodan("Hong Shi Ji Yan Fang"),Ji Ming San("Lei Bian Zhu Shi Ji Yan Fang"),Yang Rong Tang("San Yin Ji Yi Yi Zheng Fang"),Jiu Bao Eight scattered poems(Su Shen Liang Fang).Clarified the source of its formula, sorted out historical changes, researched its preparation and usage, analyzed the connotation of formula compatibility, compared ancient and modern clinical applications, and proposed development and utilization suggestions.Part Four:Explored the academic contributions of the Song Dynasty’s group of prescription doctors and their implications for modern clinical diagnosis and treatment. In the diagnosis and treatment of organ deficiency, excess cold and heat, the basic syndrome characteristics of "liver deficiency cold","gallbladder deficiency cold","lung deficiency cold",and "kidney excess heat"were summarized, and their diagnosis and treatment laws and representative prescriptions were summarized. In terms of the relationship between spleen and kidney, the situations of "tonifying the spleen is not as good as tonifying the kidney" and "tonifying the kidney is not as good as tonifying the spleen" are different. The theory of tonifying the spleen is mainly based on the deficiency of spleen yang, and treatment is mainly focused on tonifying the spleen, while also taking into account the treatment of the kidney; The theory of tonifying the kidney mainly focuses on the deficiency of true yang in the kidney, and the treatment mainly focuses on tonifying the kidney, while also treating the spleen. It is necessary to analyze the primary and secondary factors, severity, and choose the methods of tonifying the spleen, tonifying the kidney,or both.In addition, the qi mechanism plays an important role in the circulation of body fluids.Phlegm is caused by qi diseases.By regulating the qi mechanism, the circulation of body fluids is facilitated, eliminating phlegm and yin, which is the principle of "treating phlegm first and treating qi".Conclusion:The famous prescriptions of the Song Dynasty, represented by "Pu Ji Ben Shi Fang","San Yin Ji Yi Bing Zheng Fang Lun","Ji Sheng Fang",etc.,are unique in the differentiation and treatment of diseases such as epidemics, typhoid fever, internal injuries, deficiency and fatigue, phlegm and drink. They also have innovative theories in the relationship between the spleen and kidney, the differentiation of deficiency, excess, cold and heat in organs, and the relationship between qi and jin.The understanding of disease pathogenesis, the elucidation of medical theory, the creation of famous prescriptions, and the combination of medical theory and clinical practice by the group of medical practitioners in the Song Dynasty’s prescription books, from empirical prescriptions to theoretical prescriptions, have led to the widespread application of the concept and methods of syndrome differentiation and treatment in clinical practice, which has had a profound impact on future generations and still has positive guiding significance to this day.
