A Study On The Academic Experience Of Case Recordings Of Classic Prescriptions (Sheng Fang Zhi Yan Lu)

Objective:Through studies and researches of Case Recordings of Classic Prescriptions (Sheng Fang Zhi Yan Lu), this articles attends to, firstly, make up the blankness in the theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) for Dr. Zou; Secondly, summarize the clinic experience of Dr. Zou and provide references for clinic applications; And at last, sum up Dr. Zou’s researches of Dr. Zhang zhongjing, therefore, to improve academic development at a large sense.Methods:This article is conducted by means of literature analysis, objective studies and analysis of Case Recordings of Classic Prescriptions (Sheng Fang Zhi Yan Lu), and summary of academic experience from Case Recordings of Classic Prescriptions (Sheng Fang Zhi Yan Lu). Also, appropriate references and quotations from the discussions of ancient medical scholars are applied.Result:Dr. Zou has criticized the old opinion about" the blood of the female should not be cold" and proposed the theory of "blood will be moved under the support of water and grain nutritions". Dr. Zou has his own special idea of blood consumption diseases (Xue Lao, similar to tuberculosis in western medicine), tremor-sweating (Zhan Han), and lung atrophy syndrome (Fei Wei). Dr. Zou emphasizes on the Qi-transformation of six layers. Furthermore, he holds that toxic herds should be used to fight against the evils and he is attending to develop the theories of Dr. Zhang zhongjing.Conclusion:Though Dr. Zou has a certain limitation in TCM theory, generally speaking, he is a TCM clinician with a rather high accomplishment, profound basic TCM clinic techniques, and a great mastery of classic formulas, therefore, his academic thoughts are worthwhile for us to do further studies and discussions.
