The rural landscape in regions south of the Yangtze River is the significant carrier displaying local regional culture,promoting rural industrial development and improving the quality of people living environment,as well as the main expression of economic social development in rural areas.Under the background of implementing the rural revitalization strategy,integrated development of Yangtze River Delta and other development strategies,the issues of ecology,living and production that are not matched with social development still exist in the rural landscape construction of regions south of the Yangtze River where is economically developed and culturally rich,such as landscape amnesia of traditional rural live culture,poor integration of industry and landscape,damage in ecological landscapes damage in different levels and other phenomena.As a consequence,taking the perspectives around the global,this paper seeks for the excellent experience from overseas rural landscape design to explore the landscape design concepts and methods that can complete and improve the cultural connotation in Yangtze River Delta.And from the harmony perspectives between "ecology,living and production landscapes(ELP Landscape)",it carries out the comprehensive design and improvement for the rural landscape,aiming to help build a beautiful countryside of socialism with Chinese characteristics and realize the goal of "Common Prosperity" for all people as soon as possible.From the design perspective,and combined with discipline theories as landscape design,sociology,tourism,aesthetics,etc,this paper takes the Yangtze River Delta as the macro research object to comb and analyze the historical evolution and characteristics of rural landscape in regions south of Yangtze River,and comes up with the design of ELP Landscape based on displaying rural site character in regions south of Yangtze River,maintaining rurality and keeping homesickness.Referring to the types and evolution of overseas rural landscape design,it also tracks the development lines,realistic basis and extensible connotations of ELP Landscape concept to fully show the characteristics of countryside in regions south of Yangtze River.The rural landscape of Wujiang District,Suzhou city,Jiangsu province where is typical and representative is selected as meso research object to construct a evaluation system of rural landscape in regions south of Yangtze River based on design studies,providing the basis for rural landscape design.And the Kaixiangong village in Wujiang district is selected as the micro research object to systematically come up with the design method of ELP Landscape and practice them providing the reference for rural landscape design and construction in different regional conditions in China.The researching methods as interdisciplinary research method,literature research method,case analysis method,field research method,analytic hierarchy process,etc.are applied in this paper,and main researching contents and conclusions are as below:1.The design concept of ELP Landscape in countryside of regions south of Yangtze River is the extension and practical needs of design under the background of current rural revitalization strategy.Focusing on the issues that the rural landscape design is facing,and seeking for the research perspectives and associated contents of relevant disciplines about rural landscape,three dimensional insights are brought up in displaying the rural landscape design in regions south of Yangtze River,which are visual prospect of ecological landscape design,situational memory of living landscape design and functional guidance of production landscape design.And it provides academic and practical support for ELP Landscape design concept in the
