Scale Basted Realism Of Ecological Experiment

Ecological experiment is a kind of research activity with load scale.Scale is closely related to the research process of ecological experiment and the reality of experimental results.For ecology,developing an effective scale theory can promote the improvement of the design and interpretation of ecological experiment,and can also promote a better connection between ecological theory and practical applications.However,there have been some controversies and shortcomings in thinking around the scale theory of ecological experiment,which require philosophical reflection.The first is the concept of scale in ecological experiment.Our answer to the question of how to define the concept of scale related to ecological experiment has diverged.The scale can be defined by researchers from many aspects,such as daily usage,ecological experiment operation,interdisciplinary comparison,philosophy of science and speculative philosophy,which has led to differences in the definition of the scale’s connotation,such as the singleness and polysemy,qualitative standards and quantitative standards.In response,we need to comprehensively consider the concept of scale in ecological experiment from aspects such as the basic usage,multidisciplinary usage,and philosophical connotation of scale,and analyze relevant defining standards,so as to obtain a scale concept that is both inclusive and fully reflects the needs of ecological research,and then classify and explain the scale of ecological experiment.This approach is applied to the discussion of scale concepts related to ecological experiment and provides the necessary basis for further discussion of scale-based ecological experimental realism from the levels of ontology,epistemology,and methodology.The second issue is the ontological status of ecological experimental scales.The discussion of the concept of scale is basically conducted in the sense of scale as a thinking phenomenon.The ontological status of scale is crucial for the pursuit of realism in ecological experiment.The debate in this regard has led to several distinct positions,namely,that scale does not exist,that scale is only an epistemological tool,and that scale is an ontological existence.Through the discussion of different positions,after the basis and contradiction of the relevant positions are clarified,the ontological status of scale is defended and the ontological connotation of scale is determined accordingly.In terms of specific ontological ideas,ontological positions on spatial and temporal scales provide an important theoretical framework for scaling and scaling ecological experiment.Next,it is the epistemological and methodological thought of ecological experiment related to scale.In terms of epistemology,the basic realism principle of ecological experimental scale study is the agreement between the intrinsic scale and the representational scale.To achieve this fit,scaling and scale extrapolation studies of ecological experiment need to be properly understood by us.The scaling of ecological objects and phenomena has a logical priority in the cognitive goal of ecological experiment.Scaling is the logical premise of scaling,and the purpose of scaling is to achieve the realism of ecological experimental results.In terms of methodology,the meaning of scale in different levels can be reflected through the method of scale analysis.The analytical framework based on scale thinking is the synthesis of holism and reductionism methods.Finally,the significance of scale realism for the evolution of ecological paradigms is discussed.The rise of scale in ecological research is not just a manifestation of conceptual proliferation,but has inherent paradigm significance.The concept of scale is closely related to ecological paradigms,and changes in the relationship between scale and reality correspond to changes in the thinking connotation of basic ecological paradigms.From the natural balance paradigm of ecology to the natural flux paradigm,and then to the natural synthesis paradigm,the scale connotation of ecological experiment has led to the shift of scale realism from unitary realism to multiple realism.The development of the connotation of scale realism indicates that ecological knowledge and organic natural view are gradually merging in the mutual promotion.In summary,the research on the realism of ecological experiment based on scale has explored the relevant debates surrounding the scale issue of ecological experiment from the perspectives of scale thinking,ontology,epistemology,methodology,and ecological paradigm,and has made explanations and responses,defending the realism position of ecological experiment.This study established a philosophical framework for ecological experiment based on scale realism,and made corresponding exploration for promoting the development of ecological philosophy.
