Research On The Transfer And Control Of Financial Risk Of Freight Forwarding Enterprises

In the production process, financial risk for enterprises is everywhere.The confusion and adverse effects which come from financial risk affect the development and growth of enterprises all the time. In recent years, with the continuous development and growth of Chinese economy, freight forwarding industry springs up,and freight forwarding enterprises develop in full swing, consequential, internal and external financial risks of freight forwarding enterprise are also increasing.Especially since 2008, with the international financial crisis, international freight forwarding enterprises in China often occur financial risk, which puts forward a inevitable and serious question for business operator as well as related research scholars:How do the Chinese face financial risk? Based on the consideration, this dissertation launches a research about financial risk transfer and control of freight forwarding enterprise. The main results are as follows:(1) According to the current weak theoretical foundation of financial risk transfer and control for freight forwarding enterprise, the dissertation combines financial risk theory, system theory, control theory and stakeholder theory, reveals the implications which derive from these theories towards financial risk transfer and control of freight forwarding enterprise, and lays a theoretical foundation for later sections of the dissertation,(2) Regarding to the current problems of financial risks confusion and risk characteristics imprecision, the dissertation hackles the business processes of freight forwarding enterprise, defines the financial risk meaning, summarizes financial risk categories, and analyses financial risk factors of freight forwarding enterprise, based on the financial risk managemnet theory. From the qualitative point of view, the dissertation clarifies general situation of freight forwarding enterprise.(3) In accordance with insufficient understanding about transfer path of freight forwarding enterprise financial risks, the dissertation explains financial risk transfer related problem of freight forwarding enterprise, explicates financial risk source and risk transfer vector, and solves financial risk transfer paths of freight forwarding enterprise. (4) Due to the lack of methods to quantify the freight forwarding enterprise financial risk, the dissertation gives a measure method for freight forwarding enterprise financial risk. Through random variation in the risk environment and the process of system transfer, the method obtains risk transfer energy model of financial system, and achieves quantitative comprehensive analysis of multiple risk factors change.(5) According to the common change of the risk sources such as the recovery risk of the account receivables and exchange rates in the finance of our freight forwarding enterprise, this dissertation presents methods of the financial risk conduction and assessment in our freight forwarding enterprise. The implementation of this method of control can be obtained by the following:First, establish early warning systems to identify the financial risks and control the energy of risk within a range acceptable for the freight forwarding enterprise to decrease the energy of the risk source. Second, reduce the paths of risk transfer and the range of spread to prevent the formation of the "domino effect" in financial risk transfer.(6)Due to the information asymmetric and confidentiality, currently the case of financial risk control in our freight forwarding enterprise had not seen yet in publicly publication. To solve this problem, and a better theory with practice, we got the examples of risk transfer and control in CJ Freight forwarding Co., Ltd by field survey, and validated the financial risk transfer and control in freight forwarding enterprise in practice.
