Research On Social Responsibility Of Chinese Journalists In The New Era

Journalists fulfill their social responsibilities,involving the correct direction of public opinion,national security,social stability and harmony.In the current communication field,no matter in the real society or in the cyberspace,journalists often send false news,paid news,lack of humanistic care and loss of public opinion supervision in the process of fulfilling their social responsibilities.This makes the public once again focus on the group of journalists,seriously affecting the social function regarding journalism.By analyzing the evolution and development of social responsibility of journalists in China,this study conducts the analysis,and clarifies the practical significance and responsibility requirements of social responsibility of journalists in China under the background of fresh environment.In addition,it systematically analyzes the deep influencing factors of journalists' social responsibility change from the three aspects of technology,society and psychology,and from the relationship between subjective and objective,as well as discusses the solutions.Through observation,it can be found that the development and evolution of social responsibility of journalists in China has experienced four stages:before the reform and opening up,the country had a strong political responsibility;political responsibility and economic responsibility in the initial stage of reform and opening up;deficiency of responsibility in the deepening of media reform;in the transformation of media environment promote the updating of responsibility requirements.At present,the whole society of China is undergoing rapid changes.The development of social responsibility of journalists in China presents two characteristics,namely,the slow accumulation of responsibility culture under a single system,the rapid change of responsibility connotation under the double impact of social reform and technological development.As the main duty-bearers,journalists are faced with the confusion from the objective environment and the subject behavior.In terms of duty performance,there are also problems of lack of moral norms and irresponsibility in news reporting.The author analyzes the development and evolution of Chinese journalists' social responsibility and the deep reasons that affect the performance of their responsibilities from the aspects of technology,society and psychology.At the aspect of technology as a driving force,from the perspective of internal structure,it is proposed that the backwardness of the cognition and mastery of new information technology and the separation of new technology from traditional thinking are all important causes for the differentiation between technological iteration and journalists' ideological notions.At the same time,the new modes for production,presentation and communication channel of journalism promoted by various emerging technologies have brought great impact and challenge to the establishing and implementation of journalists' social responsibility consciousness.At the aspect of social impact,economic pressure brought about by the technology-driven reform of the media industry,diversification of values and unreasonable internal and external management mechanism of the media all make journalists' sense of social responsibility perplexed.Under the influence of technical and social factors,from the perspective of subject psychology,it is found that the psychological change of journalists under the evolution of social responsibility increases,that is,the psychological ups and downs caused by the status of "uncrowned king".The psychological anxiety caused by the elimination of professional advantages,as well as the reconstruction of discourse status under social development and technological innovation.There are three innovative points in this paper First is to reveal the rule of the accumulation of Chinese journalists' responsibility culture,such as the combination of speediness and slowness in time.The second is to systematically analyze the influencing factors of journalists' social responsibility from the aspects of technology,society and psychology,and clarify the relationship among them.Thirdly,from the perspective of media ecology,it is analyzed in this paper the internal and external environment of media,and finds out strategies and measures for journalists to cope with challenges and effectively fulfill their social responsibilities.Overall analysis,this essay proposes a vision for the pathway chosen by journalists in China to cope with and adapt to changes in the media environment and fulfill their social responsibility.In terms of internal adaptation,media accountability,responsibility assessment programmes and performance assessment mechanisms should be improved;the innovative capacity of journalists should be enhanced,media resources and new media technologies should be used in a comprehensive manner to better guide public opinion;innovative thinking should be cultivated,with emphasis on content and form innovation and on the needs and habits of the audience;and the professional ethical quality of journalists should be strengthened,as well as the cultivation of norms and virtues.In terms of external responses to adaptation.In the political sphere,the construction and supervision of the concept of journalism should be enhanced,the construction of political ideology among journalists should be strengthened,and the guiding role of dominant political awareness and mainstream values in the work of journalism should be grasped,external supervision and management should be strengthened,industry norms and supervision should be improved and perfected,and government supervision and the construction of the legal system should be strengthened.On the economic front,institutional reform should go hand in hand with the prevention of monopoly,further deepen the reform of the media system,improve the treatment of journalists,avoid monopoly in the industry,and support public services.On the cultural front,the core values of socialism should be implemented,the spiritual construction of journalists and their ability to guide public opinion should be enhanced,the common values and ideals of society should be formed,and they should assume the mission of empowering journalists in the new era to "become a culture of humanism and cohesion",in addition,journalists should take the concept of a community with a shared future for mankind as their value orientation and establish a concept of social responsibility from a global perspective.On the technical front,the relationship of human-computer synergy should be constructed and integrated,the integration mechanism of human-computer ethics and human-computer synergy should be constructed,a synergistic platform should be built,technology awareness should be promoted,and the leading role of human beings should be played to make up for technological shortcomings.Additionally,for journalists,they should strive to find their own value and identity.First,journalists should do some warm news,which can react and channel people's psychology and inner emotions,make people's spirit sublimated,transmit more positive energy,and achieve the guiding and educating effect on public consciousness.Secondly,journalists should do in-depth news,use in-depth news reports as an important competitive resource,dig up news events closely related to the public to make the news have investigative,analytical and insightful characteristics,pay attention to the depth and details of the information,try to show the overall picture of the news,focus on the overall and integral aspects of the news events to clarify the vein,refine exclusive insights and views,guide the audience to think deeply,make the news content has new ideas,content is rich and readable,promote a civilized and healthy lifestyle,form and promote social progress.Simultaneously,a journalist,in the course of practicing journalism,should be brave enough to assume the corresponding social functions and responsibilities in a risky society,and play the role of an early warning,educator and defuser of social risks.
