Research On Ruan Yuan's Collation Of "Annotations To The Thirteen Classics"

The paper is based on the Shi San Jing Zhu Shu Ruan Yuan edition,to study on the background and conditions,such as writing time,emendators,editions,volumes,collation,styles,versions and Shi Yin.The main findings are as follows:First,exploring the background and conditions of Shi San Jing Zhu Shu Ruan Yuan edition.This paper mainly starts with the spread of Shi San Jing Zhu Shu,and points out the necessity of Ruan Yuan reprinting Shi San Jing Zhu Shu.The influence of the culture of collating Shi San Jing in Qing Dynasty on Ruan is also probed.It is pointed out that Ruan Yuan attaches importance to the collation of classics,and has rich experience.At the same time,he pays attention to training and recruiting talents,and is good at organizing and editing large scale books.Second,this paper discusses the three aspects of Ruan Yuan's menstrual time,the responsible person of the head officer and the collation basis.It is pointed out that Ruan Yuan should start studying in the 5th year of Jiaqing's reign(1800)instead of the 6th year(1801).It reveals the academic expertise of Ruan Yuan,Duan Yucai,Yan Jie,Zang Yong,Gu Guangqi,Xu Yangyuan,Li Rui,Hong Zhenxuan,Sun Tongyuan,and their respective work.Meanwhile,this paper makes an investigation of the original texts of Shi San Jing Zhu Shu Jiao Kan Ji and points out that the original texts of Yi li Zhu Shu and Shang Shu Zhu Shu are from Mao edition,Lun Yu Zhu Shu does not focus on only one book,and the other ten scriptures are as described in the Analects.On the basis of this,the problems caused by the discrepancy between collation and original text are analyzed.Third,the volume,style and printing are investigated.It is pointed out that there are different ways to divide the scriptures of Shi San Jing Zhu Shu Jiao Kan Ji,such as Tang Shi Jing edition,the Jing Zhu edition,the eight lines edition,the ten lines edition,the Mao edition,and the redistributed ones.It is believed that the principal does not make a unified system,which leads scholars to make their own decisions.The tradition of classical collation and the evolution of collation style are combed,and the background of Ruan Yuan's collation style is pointed out.The influence of Ruan Yuan's Yi Li Shi Jing Jiao Kan Ji on its style mainly discussed.Shi San Jing Zhu Shu Jiao Kan Ji is divided into "single book system" and "excerpt system".It is also pointed out that the Wenxuan Lou edition has been reprinted and corrected at least five times,and Qing Jing Jie edition and Lu Xuan edition are all based on the Jin Biao.Fourth,a case study is carried out on the version of Shi San Jing Zhu Shu Jiao Kan Ji.This paper analyzes Ruan Yuan's citation of the Shi San Jing Zhu Shu Wuying Dian edition and its absorption.There are many references to Lu Wenchao edition,but it is not based on Lu Wenchao edition.Quotations of Shi Wen in Jing,Zhu,and Shu do not exclusive to one book.Li Ji Ji Jie Tongzhi Tang edition,which is not a good version,is used to proofread Fu Shi Yin Li Ji Zhu Shu.The first emendator of Yi Li Zhu Shu Jiao Kan Ji ignores Yi Li Shi Jing Jiao Kan Ji,and Ruan Yuan absorb in and revises it.Through the case study,it is revealed that there were some problems in the cited version of Ruan Yuan's classics,which were not perfect.Fifth,the paper investigates the situation of Ruan Yuan's Jing Dian Shi Wen and Mengzi Yin Yi.In the case of collation,ten kinds of books,such as Zhou Yi Shi Wen Jiao Kan Ji,are based on Tongzhi Tang edition,and Mao Shi Shi Wen Jiao Kan Ji is based on Ye edition,Lun Yu Shi Wen Jiao Kan Ji is based on different versions.Ruan Yuan chooses different Shi Wen editions including Heke edition,Jingzhu edition,Zhushu edition.It is finding that only the Jiao Kan Ji of Zhou Yi Shi Wen,Fu Shi Yin Mao Shi Zhu Shu systematically excerpt from Shi Wen Jiao Kan Ji,Fu Shi Yin Shang Shu Zhu Shu and Fu Shi Yin Chun Qiu Zuo Zhuan Zhu Shu excerpt less.The rest of the books does not absorb the achievements of Ruan Yuan.The reasons why Lu Xuanxun does not absorb are summarized with the example of the Fu Shi Yin Li Ji Zhu Shu and the actual situation.
