Xi Jinping emphasized that we should persevere in arming the whole Party,educating the people and promoting work with the socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics in the new era,and make great efforts in understanding and practicing,so as to promote the penetration and rooting of contemporary Chinese Marxism and 21 st century Marxism in the hearts and minds of the people.However,since the 18 th CPC national congress,ideology safe has been highlighted in home and abroad.Some western countries propagate wrong attitudes towards the Marxist theory education in a New Era in order to shake the guiding role of Marxism in China.Domestically,some people has shown their frailness in ideal and faith,which brings complex challenges to the Marxist theory education.the CPC central committee with Xi Jinping at its core sizes up the situations and opportunities to make great progresses in the inheritance and development of Marxist theory education thoughts and practical experience.At the same time,innovative solutions have been given to the three inherent questions——“what is Marxist theory education”,“why Marxist theory education is needed” and“ how to practice Marxist theory education ”,pushing the process of creative development.Researching on the Marxist theory education is the need of insisting and developing.Literature research method,questionnaire method and semi-structured interviews have been used in the research.The forming foundation,background,innovation achievements,characteristic and significance,shortcomings and suggestions have been discussed in the essay.In the second chapter and the third chapters,the forming foundation and historical background have been scientifically generalized.By looking into related thoughts of Marx,Engels,Lenin and Chinese party and state leaders,the thesis summarizes the born and development of Marxist theory education.By studying the history of the party,this thesis summarizes the development of Marxist theory education in important historical period.Furthermore,experiences and features of the education ' s development is discussed,which has built strong theoretical foundation for further research.The thesis also analyzes the requirement of a New Era,the performance on Party building,education and culture,network information technology,and challenges of ideology safe,which prepared for the following research.In the forth chapter and fifth chapter,innovation achievements of Marxist theory education in a New Era have been roundly concluded.Characteristics and significance have also been discussed.Educational philosophy,educating contents as well as educating methods of Marxist theory education in a New Era have made breaking progress,which helps a lot in consolidating the ruling position and promoting mainstream ideology.In the sixth chapter and seventh chapter,current effect of the Marxist theory has been evaluated,and future paths to persist and to develop Marxist theory education have been deeply explored.Based on practice-and-problem oriented principles,questionnaires towards party cadres,university students and society members have been designed and taken in order to get the actual effect of the theory education.According to the result,the research has further developed a semi-structured interviews towards related leaders.Then general problems have been discovered.Finally the thesis has put forward some suggestions in top-level design,team building,content constructing,and organizing,which helps the thesis back to practice.Finally,conclusion of this research and outlook of future research have been given,which will contributes to the deepening of following researchers.
