The Modern Stand Point of Children Education is a hot issue in current research on Children Education in China. Correspondingly, the "Children-based" conception has become an popular vocabulary in all relevant areas with "child" such as education, literature, film and other areas, and emerged a lot of phrases such as "Children-based Education", "Children-based Literature", "Children-based Film and Television" and so on.The change "makes me happy, makes me worry". I was happy to see that our ideas are changing, and worried about that there are a lot of misunderstandings or distortions on "children based" conception.Therefore, with concepts of the nature and culture as latitude and longitude, this paper demonstrates the nature of children's education from philosophical, historical and scientific points of view. And I hopes to deepen the existing understanding on "children based" conception and promoted the establishment of Modern Stand Point of Children Education in China.From the philosophical point of view, Man is an ongoing self-creation and a free being into future. By analyzing Plato's two well-known metaphors, we found that education is the only way to guide Man know himself and know the world. Only education can lead Man to be freedom, but the transmission of knowledge is not the right way. It achieved by guiding Man deal with difficulties and crisis in life independently, and ongoing implementation of freedom of choiceFrom the historical point of view, no matter the Western educators such as Plato, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, John Dewey or the educators in China such as Confucius, Tao Xing-zhi, they are trying to deal with the crisis of human existence through a way to discovery and creation. In the ideas of these great educators, creating human-based culture and human (children)-based education is not only their education advocates, but also their social ideals, because by its very nature, education is politics, and it must guide Man deal with difficulties and crisis in life independently.From the scientific point of view, since the development of science in modern times, such as psychology, genetics, biology and the theory of evolution shows us a new picture on the "Man". The science has greatly enhanced our confidence of developmental potentials on humanself. At the same time, it warned us that we should be revering ourselves as the same as we revered before the vast universe. We must take a scientific attitude towards the facts of human existence and development, and don't attempt to interfere another universe, because human development is a natural process.There are many indications that we have to change the knowledge centered "technology" education and with a scientific attitudes to handle the relationship between adults and children. In a really Children-based education world, education prepared for children discovery. Children are the center of education and the basis for educational work; the process of education is a process of scientific discovery. And we must recognize that children are an ongoing self-creation discoverers and explorers.
