Childhood,which is an inevitable stage in people’s life,represents the treasure of human culture.Confronting with the current children,we should have the understanding and feeling of life as the people who have experienced all of that phases.However,the relationship between adults and children is still in a state of confrontation in real world.There are many hostile problems between adults and children.Such as children’s voice is drowned out by adult’s rebuke;Children’s eyes are misled by adult’s utility;And children’s thoughts are obliterated by adult’s strict control.In the light of this status,taking the childhood memory as a breakthrough,this study is going to explore the impact of adult’s childhood memory on their children’s view and demonstrate the importance of childhood from the theoretical and practical level,combining with the characteristics of childhood.Thus,it can provide a possible way for adults to recognize children and childhood,and establish an equal and harmonious dialogue relationship with them.In the first place,the author has figured out the important memories of their childhood and the relevant contents reflecting their current views on children by taking the deep interviews with 6 parents and 6 teachers who have good views on children based on purposeful sampling;Subsequently,through classifying and coding the interview data,this study sorted out the specific types of the respondents’ childhood memories and views on children;Finally,the content of the interview is deeply analyzed based on the relevant theories of psychology,and the conclusions are as follows:First,the respondents’ childhood memory mainly involves three aspects:“living environment”,“family”and“early education experience”,which can be divided into two types:“abundant memory” and “missing memory”.The connotation of their views on children mainly make up of five dimensions: “ contradictory and complex characteristics of children”;“underestimated ability of children”;“concern about individual and personality”;“treating children as a real person”;“implement respect,accompany and guidance”.Second,the experience of childhood has a lasting and profound impact on the growth of the interviewees and the establishment of their views on children,which is mainly produced through “awakening”and “construction”.Third,childhood is an indispensable bridge between adults and children,a key factor in the establishment of “you-me”relationship.It offers a valuable resource for adults to understand children,know themselves,and build an equal and harmonious dialogue with children.Therefore,adults should learn from childhood and guide their educational ideas and behaviors by recalling their past childhood and humbly learning from the present children.
