The quality of TCFL teaching materials is related to the quality of teaching and learning effect of students.This thesis mainly analyzes the application of the “New Practical Chinese textbook” in two universities in Kazakhstan.By understanding the needs of students and their evaluation of the textbooks currently used and combining with the suggestions of teachers,we found that the applicability of “New Practical Chinese Textbook" in Kazakhstan is insufficient.The thesis is divided into the following eight parts: The first part introduces the reasons for the topic selection and the related theoretical basis.The use of Chinese textbooks in Kazakhstan and other colleges and universities is in great demand.There are certain problems in the compilation of teaching materials,teaching strategies and teacher literacy.The second part introduces the historical background of the "New Practical Chinese Textbook" applied to universities in Kazakhstan;the third part introduces the "New Practical Chinese Textbook" from four aspects of application goals and content,application principles and methods,and application processes and guarantees The ideal state of application in colleges and universities in Kazakhstan;the fourth part analyzes the application status of the "new practical Chinese textbook" in two universities;the fifth part is the application strategy research;the sixth part analyzes the application strategy in the "new practical Chinese textbook" "Cases in textbooks;the seventh part puts forward suggestions for effective application;finally,it summarizes the applicability of "New Practical Chinese Textbooks" in two universities in Kazakhstan and puts forward relevant suggestions.In view of the existing problems,in the application of teaching materials,it is proposed to carry out collective lesson preparation and regular special training and assessment in the use of teaching materials;formulate a unified syllabus,guide the use of teaching materials and unified teaching materials;unify teaching materials and hours according to the learning level and Chinese level,establish a unified assessment standard for teachers and test contents for students;prepare a guide manual for the use of teaching materials;establishing it is suggested that teaching materials should be provided in a unified way or printed by local organizations.In the compilation of teaching materials,it is suggested that teaching materials should be arranged according to teaching hours and teaching styles and small topics should be set up separately.It is also suggested that phonetic teaching should be strengthened,vocabulary,text and cultural items should be selected according to the actual teaching situation,and the advantages of textbook typesetting,Chinese character elements and grammar interpretation should be continued and optimized.Attention should be paid to the difficulty in compiling teaching materials.At the same time,it is suggested to develop a series of teaching materials in line with the characteristics of students' learning.All in all,there are advantages and disadvantages in the application of the "New Practical Chinese Textbook" in two universities in Kazakhstan.Through the comparison of this thesis,I hope it can be used for reference in the compilation and use of the "New Practical Chinese Textbook" in Universities in Kazakhstan.
