Folk songs in northern Shaanxi are verbally created by the people of northern Shaanxi,with strong regional characteristics and rustic flavor.The research on northern Shaanxi folk songs has mainly focused on art,literature,culture,history,etc.However,research from linguistic perspective is relatively weak.Existing research on the language of folk songs in Northern Shaanxi mainly focuses on written materials of folk songs in Northern Shaanxi,focusing on their pronunciation,vocabulary,grammar,and rhetoric.However,such text-based research can hardly pay attention to the oral traditional features of the folk songs in Northern Shaanxi.The creation,singing,dissemination and inheritance of folk songs in northern Shaanxi were carried out in oral manner.The language of northern Shaanxi folk songs is very verbal.It can be said that folk songs in northern Shaanxi existed as an oral tradition first,and then they were recorded in written form..Therefore,this article will study the characteristics of the oral formula and the singing language of the folk song language in Northern Shaanxi from the perspective of oral tradition,so as to make up for the current research.On the basis of a comprehensive review of the research results of the northern Shaanxi folk song language,we conducted a relatively sufficient collection and analysis of the written and audiovisual corpus of the northern Shaanxi folk song.The article uses oral tradition,linguistics,musicology and other related theories to discuss the oral language and its traditional characteristics of folk songs in Northern Shaanxi,focusing on the characteristics of oral formula and singing language.The specific research content and innovations of the paper are as follows:First,discuss the folk songs of northern Shaanxi as an oral tradition.Oral tradition is the first of the five major items of "intangible cultural heritage",including ballads,stories,epics,rap,narrative poetry and other language arts,which are collective,verbal,programmatic,variability,performance,inheritance,etc.Non-material characteristics.As an oral tradition,folk songs in northern Shaanxi show strong verbality in the process of creation,singing and performance,dissemination and inheritance.The oral traditions of its language are mainly embodied in two aspects:verbal programming characteristics and singing language characteristics.Second,research on the characteristics of the oral formula of the folk song language in northern Shaanxi under the theory of western oral formula.To analyze the characteristics of the oral formulas of folk songs in Northern Shaanxi,we can first learn from the theory of oral formulas in the West,and study the folk songs in Northern Shaanxi as a special language variant,and divide folk songs from simple language units to topics and story paradigms.Large-scale language structural units are analyzed in order to explore the common oral formula characteristics of the oral tradition language followed from the creation to the singing process.The study found that the use of words,syntactic rules,theme expressions and story paradigms of northern Shaanxi folk songs all reflect the stylized characteristics to a certain extent.The word formula refers to the phrase that is repeatedly used in folk songs,is stable,and follows the principle of"frugality" in the oral tradition,including character description program,plant description program,animal description program,clothing description program,location and location Description program,color description program,action description program,quantitative word description program,time description program and other types.Syntactic formulas are embodied in the endless parallel relations at the syntactic level,which mainly include parallel parallelism and progressive parallelism.Thematic formula refers to a set of traditional stylized language expressions used when narrating a certain topic or typical scene.The theme formula of folk songs in northern Shaanxi is mainly reflected in the big theme,which is the "topic",mainly including"blue flower".Topic programs such as "Go Xikou","Bachelor Crying Wife","Looking for In-laws","Pregnancy" and other topical programs.The story paradigm is a structure that supports the entire narrative from the beginning to the end in accordance with a series of pre-existing sequence of actions.The story paradigm of the folk songs in northern Shaanxi mainly exists in the folk songs with a storyline,such as "Zouxikou"and "Da Suanzao" "Painted Fan Face","Embroidered Purse","Shenlu" and other repertoires have regular story patterns when used as texts for narration.Third,research on the characteristics of local style of folk songs in northern Shaanxi.In addition to the characteristics of the folk song language formula in Northern Shaanxi that are summarized by the theory of Western oral formulas,the folk song language of Northern Shaanxi is also affected by the language characteristics of the region,and there are some local oral formula features,mainly including two phonological formulas and verbal formulas.aspect.Phonological formula mainly refers to the phonological law and rhyming law of folk songs in northern Shaanxi.Among them,the phonetic laws are the multiple phonetic laws that the folk song language of Northern Shaanxi follows under the influence of the sounds of Northern Shaanxi dialect.The rhyming rules are reflected in its rhyming parts and rhyming examples.The rhyming of folk songs in northern Shaanxi basically uses thirteen rhymes,but due to the influence of the northern Shaanxi dialect,Renchenzhe merges with the other eleven rhymes.Rhyming examples include several types such as sentence rhyming,changing rhyme,holding rhyme,and inserting words into rhyme.Paraphrase formula is the usage law and stylized characteristic of folk song’s paraphrase.There are three main aspects:type law,position law and paraphrase repetition.Singers generally follow these three rules when composing and singing folk songs,choosing the type,location and frequency of use of the supplementary words suitable for the expression of folk songs.Fourth,research on the singing language of folk songs in northern Shaanxi.The use of language in northern Shaanxi folk songs is not only different from daily spoken language,but also different from static lyrics text.When a word,a word,and a sentence are sung,they will be affected by both musical factors and dialect factors,thus presenting many singing language characteristics that are different from other language expressions.These "liveness" language characteristics are just worth ours In-depth study.The characteristics of singing language produced under the influence of musical factors are specifically manifested in its language organization form,pitch value,pitch,tone intensity,timbre and many other aspects.The characteristics of singing language under the influence of language factors are mainly reflected in the multiple beat system based on "2" in the folk songs of northern Shaanxi,the integration of the five tones and tunes of northern Shaanxi dialect,the special way of singing and the special pronunciation state.Although the thesis elaborates on the characteristics of the oral formula and the singing language of the folk song language in Northern Shaanxi,there are still some shortcomings.Because of the large amount of corpus of folk songs in northern Shaanxi,there are deficiencies in field investigation and corpus collection;and because of the interdisciplinary nature of folk song language research,its research theory,research content and research methods all need to be further explored.
