The Study Of The Truth View Of Phenomenology

The core issue of philosophy is the question of Truth.Phenomenology is one of the representatives of contemporary philosophical schools which core issue is also the question of Truth.The concept of Truth of phenomenology is different from the view of the Correspondence Theory of Truth as the mainstream in the history of philosophy.It explores the truth based on the distinction between the appearing and the which appears.Under the requirement of “To the Things Themselves”,Husserl,Heidegger and Henry,as representatives of phenomenology,criticized the Correspondence Theory of Truth,and each of them elaborated their own concepts of truth.Their concept of Phenomenological Truth is in the same vein and becoming be deepened.This paper focuses on the following five aspects of the Phenomenological Truth Concept of them.First,Truth is the core issue of philosophy and also as the core issue of phenomenology.The requirement of phenomenology is "To the Things Themselves",and the correlation between the Things Themselves and the Truth should be elaborated in the phenomenological truth notion.This issue is closely related to the concept of Phenomena.Phenomenon as a manifestation of things themselves includes two aspects: which appears and the appearing as an condition.The truth view of phenomenology is to discuss the truth from these two aspects.The things themselves as which appears and the appearing as an condition both has the meaning of truth to some extent.The appearing of which appears is the appearing of the things themselves,and it is the Truth itself.This is the basic standpoint of the truth view of phenomenology.Second,the correspondence theory of truth is the mainstream notion of truth in the history of philosophy.Its essence is Reflection Theory.Brentano began to criticize the Correspondence Theory of Truth.He proposed to the judgment should be appropriating and he elaborate the evidence of judgment.Husserl regards the truth as Evidence and he believe the evidence of giveneness of the things themselves is the Truth.Heidegger believes that the Correspondence Theory of Truth is a derivative of the Truth which based on the correctness of the Assertion.The Truth itself as the appearing of which appears should be starting from the most fundamental problem of Being.The truth of Being is the Phenomenological Truth;Henry distinguishes Phenomena and Phenomenality and he believes that the pure manifestation is the Truth of Life,the pure manifestation itself,which is the premise of the World Truth as a phenomenon-appearance.Their critique of the Correspondence Theory of Truth is step to the in-depth and all of them shows that the Correspondence Theory of Truth does not touch the condition of the possibility of Truth,that is,the manifestation ofthings as which appears.Third,the truth view of phenomenology which represented by Husserl,Heidegger and Henry transcends the Correspondence Theory of Truth,because they have made a distinction between which appears and the appearing as the requirement of “To the Things Themselves”.Appearing or manifestation itself is a condition for the which appears coming to appearing.In Husserl's Intentional Structure,the temporal structure of consciousness is the most fundamental condition for appearance and it makes the possibility that the things coming to appear as intentional objects in consciousness.For Heidegger,Being is the condition that all beings can be revealed.Dasein as the uncovering could shows that the Truth is uncovering and being uncovered.The Being of Dasein is the temporal ecstases.Dasein is in truth.The truth of Being as an Unconcealment is the most fundamental condition of manifestation,and Truth is the opening and manifestation of Being.On the basis of distinguishing between Phenomena and Phenomenality,Henry distinguishes the manifestation and manifestation of the which be manifested.He believes that the Phenomenological Truth is Pure Phenomenality,that is,pure manifestation,the Life.The Truth of Life is the principle of all things,and also as the foundation of the truth of the World,which is the kind of phenomenon that separates the appearing from the which appears.Fourth,Henry pointed out that the concept of Truth held by Husserl and Heidegger is based on the time as condition of Appearing and the World as which appears,the Truth of the World.The Truth of Life is different from the Truth of the World.The Truth of Life is the pure manifestation.Its essence is the pathos as Auto Affection which including the joy and suffering which experienced by Life itself.This is an absolute Immanence which is invisible for the Truth of the World.Henry's view of the Truth of Life regards the absolute self manifestation,that means Life,as the principle of all things.This is the further exploration of the concept of "appearing" in phenomenology,and its also be the deepening of the view of Phenomenological Truth of Husserl and Heidegger.Fifth,Henry regard the pure manifestation,Life,as Phenomenological Truth,which is overcoming the distinction of which appears and the appearing,which is hold by Husserl and Heidegger.The Life is identical as Auto Affection and the pure manifestation.The Truth,"To the Things Themselves" as the requirement of the phenomenology is embodied in the Auto Affection.Life comes to itself,and experiencing itself as the essence of pathos.Life itself as the pure self manifestation is identity,which is the true Phenomenological Truth.
